Chapter Nine

[THERE WILL BE THREE UPDATES TODAY. ON SATURDAY I ONLY UPDATED ONCE, AND TOMORROW I WILL BE DOING HOMEWORK DUE IN FOR WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY. I WILL BE UPDATING ON FRIDAY ALSO, AS I'M GOING AWAY FOR THE WEEKEND WITH FRIENDS FOR MY BIRTHDAY ON SUNDAY. THE WEEK AFTER, UPDATES WILL BE BACK TO TUESDAY AND SATURDAY, SORRY FOR ANY CONFUSION ABOUT MY UPDATES.]

Sarah and Ben headed to their Biology class together, the teacher let everyone sit where they pleased, so they picked to sit next to eachother.

"Hey, are you okay Sarah?" Ben asked her. "You just seemed a little upset around the table today when you saw Danny." 

She shrugged him off. "I'm fine, I don't know why people keep asking me that." She muttered. Great, she was being moody. 

Ben smirked a little. "You're really pissed off, I can tell. Why? What did he do to you?"

Sarah looked up at Ben, frowning. "And what makes you think that he did something to me?" 

Ben shrugged also. "I dunno, you just seemed uneasy around him, like he was lying about stuff. Was he?" 

Sarah wanted to say 'yes' and tell him all about the previous bullying, then Danny wouldn't be allowed to go around with their group. 

But since he fitted in really well at break-time, and he was already flirting with a bunch of girls in the group, she didn't want him to leave, because everyone would hate her. 

"N-no. Can we just go into lesson now?" She asked, not wanting to continue with the conversation.

"The party should be awesome Ben." Danny began. "I will bring some hot girls from my old school. Hey, Sarah?" 

Sarah looked up from her mobile, it was now lunchtime and Danny had a full hour to boast to everyone again. 

"You'd like to see Jess, Hannah and Lila again wouldn't you?" He asked her. 

She shook her head. "I'm not going anyway, so it wouldn't bother me." 

Everyone groaned a little bit, making her feel nervous as to what she had done. 

"Don't be such a spoil sport, come along to the party and have a good time, it'd be good to catch up with you." Danny replied. 

Sarah wanted to refuse again, but since everyone was already fed up of her, she shrugged. 

"I'll think about it." She simply said, not bothered at all, then she continued playing a game on her phone.

"He must've done something to you. I mean, it isn't hard to tell that you hate his guts by the sight of him. What did he do?" Ben asked Sarah as they now exited the school and started walking home.

Ben lived two streets away from her in a cul-de-sac, most of the houses around him were empty and the one other house that was full was where a business couple lived, so they were away for most of the time. 

Sarah frowned. "I don't hate his guts, I just don't see why he even bothers. He used to be too involved in his popular group at the last school. I never had any friends and I was picked on a lot of the time by Danny's friends and sometimes Danny. It's nothing, but still, he made my life hell and that's why I moved away." 

She had finally told Ben that she used to be picked on by Danny, but clearly he didn't understand the total extent of the bullying, as he frowned, making up an excuse. 

"Maybe he's matured and he realises that he was a douche, he might wanna make it up to you for the past. He seems cool Sarah, I think you should give him a chance." Ben said.

She sighed, wanting to cry, of course, Danny had hypnotised everyone except for her with his charm. 

"I've already given him his chances. The last one is in use at the moment, if I was done with giving him a chance then I would've told you lot in the first place to stay away from him." 

Ben went to say something else, but she brushed him off, walking a different way home today instead.
