Nix pov
I woke up wrapped in Josh's arms. I felt like i had been so weak yesterday andd in front of the guys too. Its just when he told us all his story a bunch of memories of being with different families and my own streamed into my mind and i broke. All of the walls i had built for myself had come crashing down. A thought knocked on the door of my mind but i refused to let it in. Too late it broke another wall and it pushed its way to the front of my mind. I need my blade. No i wouldnt do it no matter jow much i longed to feel the blood running down my arms and into the clear water in the sink. I had thrown away all of my blades and was getting over it to make them happy. I had lied to Chris that day when i said i hadnt cut in 3 months. I had a couple days before. I felt bad but i couldnt tell him. Josh stirred from next to me. "Nix?" "Morning." I mumbled and pushed myself into his chest. "I am so hungry. Can i have pizza for breakfast?" "No but i think we just started moving." He got out the bunk and i followed him after changing into some pjs. We walked into the middle area thing. Ricky wiggled his eyebrows playfully at us and i flipped him of. Andy was riding with us til the gas station then me and Josh were going to ride with OM&M. Then we would spend the night in bvbs bus and the next day with loads of different bands. They were throwing a party at some special location and only bands could go. With the exception of me and Josh though. I went to the fridge and got us both a monster out before i sat on Andy again. "YOU NEED TO STOP DOING THAT!" "AND YOU NEED TO USE LESS OF THE COUCH!" He sulked on the corner of the couch. Josh was in the middle and i was at the other end with my legs over his. He used them as an arm rest so he could watch his phone screen move. Ugh. I stared at him taking in his features. Damn he was hot. "Are you going to say something or just keep staring at me?" Shit i had to come up with something fast. "I was trying to guess what you were watching by your facial expressions." I said earning a laugh from Chris. He was my legal guardian. I was taken by surprise as i was engulfed in a wave of shock. Wtf i took me this long to fangirl. CHRIS MOTIONLESS IS MY DAD BITCHES! I cant believe i had just thought about this. I had treated it like i normaly would but i trusted him quicker and i actually called him dad. Something i hadnt done with previous parents. I looked at josh again. He made a funny face as if he was concentrating so i took a picture. Ha ha my ninja skills. He stopped looking at his phone and looked at me as i sneakily took pictures. He had like 15 different emotions on his face at the same time. It was very funny. I started laugh as he pulled his phone up. I imagine he was now taking pictures of me. "Send me that one." I said as we showed each other the pictures we had taken. "Only if i get that one." "Fine."

Josh pov.
I watched her look through the pictures i had taken. "CHRIS WHEN DO WE GET TO THE GAS STATION?" "COUPLE HOURS!" Angelo walked in and sat opposite us. Nix still had her legs over mine and i let her. She saw something on her phone and gasped. She grabbed my hand I imagine she had found out something bad. The people who had heard her were waiting for an explanation. Ghost walked up behind her and read her phone. Tears came to her eyes so i took it and read it too.

I found you slut. I know who you are living with. Now i have you back im going to make your life hell.

I pressed block on her phone and pulled her into my lap and allowed her to soak my shirt again. She didnt deserve this. "The next time i see that damn woman shes gonna walk away with a black eye." Balz said. He took the words right out of my mind. She let out a little laugh and calmed down. However she didnt get up she just rested her head in my shoulder. Chris sat next to us and gave her some chocolate. She got happier. "You dont have to worry about that bitch ok? You have 8 bands who would gladly fight in your corner. And you have me. She is gone. I blocked her from your phone and deleted her number. Nix look at me." I lifted her chin up. "You. Are. Safe." She nodded. "Thanks Josh. She is still with her husband. But Chris is my dad now and i have nothing to do with them." I smiled at her gently. "Chris can i have my black butler blanket please?" "Will that go round both of you?" She nodded and got closer to me so the blanket would fit. Soon we were watching movies on the sofa with the others. "GAS STATION!" Chris yelled and she practically dived out of the bus in her blanket running into the store. I watched her run anime style to the drinks and buy monster. Then she went to the sandwich bit and got some sausage rolls. I walked over to her and wrapped my arms over her and the blanket. She leaned into me. "What you getting? We have time to decide cause we have to wait for OM&M to get here so we can ride in their bus." "I want pringles." And with that we got five pots and paid. By the time OM&M arrived we had already eaten a pot. Nix looked like she was falling asleep so i grabbed the bag of shit we had bought and picked her up bridal style. "Omg Josh put me down!" I laughed at her reaction and tightened my grip as she struggled. Ricky ran out of the NYD bus (they had gone there to hang out) he saw Nix struggling and started laughing. Aaron came out of the OM&M bus and let us in Nix had stopped struggling so i carried her on with ease and dumped her in a booth. She curled up in her blanket and leaned on my side. I put my arm around her and opened another pot of pringles and a monster. I felt her get gradually heavier as she drifted into a heavier sleep listening to broken generation that they had blasted through the bus.
