During English the door opened all eyes turned at the door. It was a boy carrying a note and he walked up to my teacher. Teachers face went pale.
"I um have an emergency," he said. "Take lunch early."
Can I trust the kids?
Of course we nodded.
"Then ye all can leave"
Then he shouted at us and said " if ye go anything bad yere all getting double homeworke. Now go be quiet"
We all ran out. But I ran to the field so I can meet Tyler. What did her want? I didn't want him pitying me for what Martha had done.
" I heard a loud noise" it sounded like a girl crying. I walked quietly so whoever was crying couldn't here me.
It was Jessica and bud smith, Martha's boyfriend. I almost didn't recognise her because his large hand was clamped over her mouth covering half her face. He was on top of her and she struggled to break free.
With his free hand bud tried to push Lauren's jeans down.
Lauren noticed me she stopped fighting. I almost ran.
"Leave her alone!" I yelled.
Bud glanced over his shoulder. "Get lost."
" leave her alone." This time my voice wasn't that loud.
His smirk made me fell so sick. When he stood up Lauren ran away.
When I went to run away I fell on my face. I was getting up when buds large hands lifted me by my waist. With my arms and legs dangling, I couldn't break free, but I stopped when I thought I saw some one. It was a blur. And then bud grunted. I felled to the floor. Tyler was next to me.
"Bud said "your gonna die for that,"
"Tyler, get out of here I screamed.
He didn't leave and I was sure bud was gonna kill him. I reached for Tyler's leg but it was already moving. Tyler went to kick him. Bud fell to the ground.
I ran over to Lauren to see is she was okay.
"What happened are u okay?"
She just like stared at me, and then she wrapped her arms around my neck and held me tight. I kept my hands at my sides as her face pressed into my shoulder. It wasn't until Tyler spoke then she let me go.
I pulled Lauren to her feet. She grabbed my hand. When I tried to pull free, she gripped tighter so I let her hold it. We left bud on the ground and went into school where Lauren was brought to the nurse and Tyler and I go to the principals office.
After speaking to the principal, we were told to wait in his other office. He still needed to talk to Lauren about what happened.
I smiled at Tyler."thanks so much."
"No problem."
" how'd y learn to fight like that?"
"My dad was in the army. He taught me."
"How come no one knows?!"
Tyler giggled "haven't been in a fight before."
