Next day, my mother woke me as usual.But least Lauren was my friend. When I walked into the kitchen, my mother mouth opened the she just smiled.
"I'm glad ur finally wearing jeans"
She said. "You'll fit it much better"
Breakfast was mostly in silence. She kept trying to start a conversation, but I grunted one word answers until she gave up. Put my bag on my back and left.
School bus stop was like a block away, so I walked in that direction, but I didn't wait for the bus. I just kept walking, didn't know we're I was going, but knowing I was not going to go school any ways.
It turned out to be the longest day ever. Nothing to do.
I couldn't wait to get home. I was like starving. The food in the cafeteria was so bad. So I was almost running when it was time to go back home, but my luck...
Couldn't have been worse. The few kids who got off the school bus at my stop were filling out of it. I ducked behind a bush as quick as possible, crouching like a criminal, peeking to see if they were gone.
My eyes opened wide when I saw Tyler Harrington " Tyler x "
Everybody else disappeared, leaving him standing bye himself. What was he doing here? Than he began walking — walking in direction of my house?!!. He couldn't be......
I jumped up and ran to him while calling his name.
"Hannah where'd ya come from? You weren't on the bus."
"No, I uh—"
He just waited for me to finish, but I didn't know what to say.
"You weren't in school either,"
He said. " I thought ehm u were sick?
"I'm okay. I just didn't fell like going to school today."
He looked at me and then his eyes lowered. "Was it because of what happened yesterday?"
"You know?"
Tyler looked up and blushed. "Yeah it kinda spreaded around."
I just started to cry. I couldn't help it. When Tyler wrapped his hands around me I layed against his chest and he hugged me back. He just didn't say anything!.
Only when I stopped crying he release me. I looked at him he was sad? But he forced a smile on his face.
"Will u be in school tomorrow?"
He asked
"No."
"Ya havta go to school."
"I can't."
"But ya have to."
He was right of course, but like I couldn't could i?
"I'll be okay. I'll figure out what to do."
Tyler said goodbye and left.
