Natalie pov

Pain. Sheer pain. I was in the deepest part of the woods. I get my bones crack and my mind starting to slip into darkness. I let the terrible pain over take me. "This hurts so bad!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

I felt darkness take me. "Don't let it, fight it" a voice said in my head. I screamed. What the heck was that?! I hear a laugh, " that would be me, your wolf." " My name is grace." I smiled that was my moms name. I wish she was here to help ease some pain. "Grace?" "what should I do the pain hurts!" I said.

I could feel the heat that radiated off of me. "Shift" one word she said. Immediately I relaxed like I knew how to do this since I was born. I opened my eyes, I noticed I was on all fours. I walked around getting used to my legs.

I wonder what color I am. I took a deep breath and looked down. I was a mix between silver and almost a green color. My fur was so beautiful. It shined in the sun. I decided to test how fast I could run. I jumped into action, full speed.

My paws it the ground when I ran. Faster faster. It felt wonderful, the way the wind whipped through my fur. I ended up slowing down near a lake. "grace, I need water." it was quiet honestly fun to talk to someone other then my self. She giggled at me, probably amused. I dipped my head down into the cool refreshing water. I lapped it up like I was in the desert. It's been 2 weeks since I left that horrid place.

I decided moving to Virginia would keep me save and out of suspecting packs. I was about one mile away from the city of rRichmond. I will just walk I thought. I hear a soft laugh go through my head. I knew it wasn't grace, so I looked across the lake to find one silver wolf and one red one. They look so beautiful and majestic, like they were so sure of themselves.

The silver wolf jumped over the lake with ease. It looked my straight in the eye and it let a giggle ripple through my head again. "Hi" the wolf said. " I am Abby the protector of the element water". I stared at her. I was in complete shock. I heard a out these creatures, they are in pairs. "Hi" i said. "My name is Natalie." She cocked her head to the side and looked over at the red wolf. They where obviously having a conversation.

She nodded once as to confirm something. She looked back over to me. "It is a great honor to finally meet you, earth protector.but where is the wind protector?" she smiled at my face. Clearly I wore shock. element protector say what now???
