"DAWN!!!!!! Something is after me. It's trying to get the necklace. Bella??? Dawn?? Anyone?!" I yelled, desperate for someone to help. 

"Laaaanniiiiii..."something said. I tried to figure out who or what, but all I saw were shadows. They were crawling towards me as if that's what is talking, trying to take the necklace, but shadows can't do anything.

"Is anyone there," I yelled confused. The feeling of fear that had been building in my stomach began to spread to the rest of my body until I was in a state of pure panic. 

"Oh Lani! You can't hide from me. I got your parents and I'll get you too if you don't give me that key.," it said sounding so calm, and collected. Like it knew I would give in to its pleas for this damn key? Someone was after this necklace. I don't know why, but I just couldn't give up that stupid piece of jewelry.

"Where are my friends, why do you want this stupid key," I yelled back at it holding the necklace up in the air, but as soon as I take it out of my pocket, I hear a low growl from behind me. I scream running back down the stairs in fear. I just want to get away from this thing!

"Stupid child! Why do you have to be so stubborn? It would be much easier for the both of us if you just hand it over," It growled, much louder this time. I turned around just in time to see a blur of claws missing me by just a couple inches

"NO! I won't give it up, not without my friends and family. It reached out again, this time scratching me. My arms were glued to my chest with the necklace sealed tightly in my hands. I was so scared, I didn't even notice it had chased me into the woods. I had no idea what was happening and then I saw it. I was paralyzed in fear, all of my strength and the adrenaline that had kept me going only moments before suddenly disappeared. I saw a pair of red glowing eyes, and suddenly it charged me. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes and prepared for it to hit me, but the pain never came. I slowly opened my eyes to reveal my room. I leaped out of bed and ran into the hall to find Bella and Dawn do the same. 

"What happened to your arm?!" 

"I..I don't know. I must have accidently hit something while I was sleeping." I can't tell them what happened. They would never believe me. Hell, I don't think I believe it. This is just too impossible.

"Well we should clean it before it gets infected. Come on, I'll help you." Bella says extremely worried. 

"Yeah, okay" I follow her into the dimly lit bathroom and let her fix my wound. I don't understand how this is even possible. It was just a bad dream. I probably did just hit my arm on something next to my bed. I have no idea what to think at this point.

"You sure you're okay? You've been clenching your fist since you came out of your room." At Bellas words I turn my palm up and relax my fingers revealing the necklace.
