Chapter 7: Eyes Opened

Reid witnesses Morgan and Hotch walking out of Gideons office. He sees the looms on their faces and is now curious of what had been said. "Prentiss." He grabs her attention. "Did we say anything to Gideon about the whole..." Prentiss thinks about it and shakes her head.

"Not from what I recall." She answers.

"Thanks." He replies. Morgan walks pass him and sits at his desk. He watches Reid from the distance, watching him focus on files. This is the longest they have gone without a case, so he really has nothing else to do. Prentiss notices this and clears her throat to Reid, who looks up at her confused. She motions with her eyes to Morgan. Reid looks over, making sure to make it so Morgan can't tell. He notices the look in his eyes and looks away, clearing his own throat, in uncomfortableness. Prentiss notes this, and looks over at Morgan.

"Hey, Reid." She tries to play along, looking back to the younger agent. He looks up at her. "I need to go and get something from the printer, come with me." She states and gets up, pulling Reid by his arm. When they get over to the print she let's go of his arm. "You need to tell them." She orders.

"Tell them what?" He asks, confused of what she means.

"That you either like it or you don't." She answers and walks away, back to her desk, leaving Reid to think about what she just said.

"What was that about?" Morgan asks. Prentiss says nothing. Morgan notices movement from the corner of his eye and that's when he realizes Reid leaving to the bathroom.

"I swear Spencers bladder is getting smaller." JJ comments as she walks out of her office, noticing the same thing as Morgan.

"I'll go see what is going on." Morgan states as he gets up.

"Morgan sit." Prentiss tries to order but is ignored. She groans in annoyance.

Morgan walks into the bathroom, where Reid is looking at himself in his reflection. "You okay kid?" He asks, slightly startling the other male.

"I..uh yeah." Reid manages to get out as he clears his throat. "Actually no." He adds.

"What's wrong?" Morgan asks, sounding concerned.

"You and Hotch." Reid states, still refusing to look at Morgan.

"I know, Gideon talked to us about it." Morgan replies, making Reid look up at him, surprised.

"How did Gideon know?" He asks.

"You didnt tell him?" Morgan asks, also confused.

"Not to my knowledge." Reid responds.

"Oh." Morgan replies.

They stand in silence for a bit, Reid looks down to the floor. Morgan sighs as he tries to think of something to say to the kid.

"Look, hey, I'm sorry that Hotch and I made you feel uncomfortable, we don't know what we were thinking." Morgan tires to explain. Reid then looks up with an expression that Morgan hasn't seen in a long time, curiousity.

"I want to actually try it." Reid states.

"What?" Morgan replies.

"I want to try it with you and Hotch." Reid explains further. Morgan is now shocked and speechless. "I...I am curious." He states.

Morgan clears his throat and shakes his head. "Reid, if you really don't want to do it, then we wont." He states.

"I want to." Reid states.

"For real?" Morgan asks. Reid nods and clears his throat. "Okay kid." He replies making Reid look up surprised. "Tonight." He states. "At my place." He adds. Reid is speechless, so he just nods. "I will let Hotch know. And don't tell anyone alright?" He adds. Reid nods a bit. Morgan walks up to him and places a hand on his shoulder, you can jump out at anytime."

"I am not backing out, Morgan." Reid replies.

"Alright." Morgan replies. He stays for a few seconds to look at the younger male, then turns to leave. "And by the way, you might want to find a new place to think. Jj is starting to worry about your bladder." He explains and walks out of the bathroom, leaving Reid to himself to think of what he had just agreed to.

He takes a deep breath and looks back at his reflection. "This is it, Spencer. Can't back down now." He states.

Morgan walks into Hotch's office. "My place, tonight." He states.

"What?" Hotch asks confused.

"Just come okay." Morgan states as he walks away from the office.

"Is Reid okay?" JJ asks as she watches Morgan walk back to his desk.

"Yeah, he just had a bit to much coffee." Morgan states.

"Oh, alright." She replies.

"Where is he now?" Prentiss asks.

"Still in there I guess." Morgan replies and sits down at his desk. Prentiss gets up and walks towards the bathroom, but is stopped by Reid returning.

"Hey what did he do?" She whispers.

"Nothing, I just did what you told me." Reid answers as he returns to his desk, where he receives a nod from Morgan, letting him know he told Hotch about the plan. Reid nods back and pretends to be focusing on his files and the extra ones his friends drop on his desk.
