Briar's POV

The next day the couple arrived before nine at her studio.

She arrived earlier to wait for them. Jenna is there too, but she will not be going to join them to see the place. She will be staying in the studio.

"Good morning, Josef, Caren!" She greeted the couple.

"Good morning to Briar!" responded the two in unison.

"Are we ready?" She asked the couple.

"As ready as we ever are," said Caren excitedly.

"Let's hit the road then." And she walks towards her car and turns on the engine.

"We'll follow you," Josef said, hops in his car, and turns on the engine.

"Yeah," she replied and drove forward.

She is heading while the couple is in tow. She could feel the excitement as she was getting closer to the destination.

More than an hour later, they reached the destination. They just parked their car at the side of the road, and they walked along the path. Actually, they can drive along the path, but Briar wanted to show them how they're going to decorate the pathway going inside until they reach the waterfalls.

She could hear the water now as they were walking closer to it. She loves waterfalls.

"It's lovely, Briar; it's enchanted," Caren said very happily.

"Yes, I loved this place the first time I saw this," she replied.

"I love it too," Caren said, smiling.

"This place hasn't been touched yet. Though many have visited since it's not been advertised or hasn't used it to enhance the beauty, people never pay attention," she told Caren.

"I can see that. The path isn't walked by many feet." Josef joined in the conversation.

"So what do you think?" She asked them when they reached the falls.

"It's breathtaking!" Exclaimed Caren. The glow in her eyes is visible.

"Great! I will coordinate with the authority. I'll get the permit to use this place. I inquired long ago if it's okay, but still, it's safer to get the permit," she told them.

"After this, we will go for wedding gown selections. I have booked for you at eleven. An empty stomach is good for fitting." She smiled at Caren, then she continued.

"After the gown fitting, we will go for a cake tasting at two. Then tomorrow morning at ten we will choose the flowers you like for your bouquet and for the entourage and for the reception as well," she said.

"Wow! I'm excited about this," Caren said happily, looking at her fiancé.

"I am too, sweetheart," he said, looking at her.

"Well, since this place is okay, I'll get some help to clean the path and trim some extending twigs along the path. And get the permit as well. See you two at Lily's for the gown fitting." She told them, averting her eyes from the waterfalls.

"See you, Briar. We can go back on our own now so that you can do the other things," Josef said, holding his fiancée's hand.

"That's great; I will get the permit then. I will call Lily too, so she will be there when you two arrive. I already booked for you yesterday; still, it's better to inform her," she replied.

"Thank you, Briar. We will go directly to her studio. Jenna actually showed Lily's studio when we visited your studio. She told us that the three of you are close friends," Josef told her.

"That's good to know that you already know her place, but in any case, Jenna can actually bring you there," she replied.

"Informing Lily that we will show up is 'already good enough," Josef replied.

"Okay then, so we will get the permit, and we'll see you later at the studio so we can discuss some other things," she told them.

"Yeah, see you later," Caren and Josef said at the same time.

The couple walks back to where they parked their car.

She decided to stay and survey the area one more time, though she actually memorized every detail of it. She's been coming here every time she had a chance. This is her favorite place when she plans a wedding; it has been her inspiration for planning weddings. Here in this place gives her peace. Every drop of water is sweet music in her ear. The serenity of it soothes her heart and calms her inner senses. Only the waterfalls, chirping birds, and rustling leaves from the gentle touch of the cool wind.

How she wishes she could have this place. But that's very impossible. She wonders who owns the place. Is it private or government property? Why does nobody take good care of it? This place is beautiful. Away from the busy cities.

She turned her heels back to her car; she has to keep moving so she will have enough time for the gown fitting. She will call Laly first before going to the municipal office.

She browses for Laly's name. Then she presses call.

"Laly, it's Briar. Josef and Caren are heading back to the city, and they will go directly to your studio. I will run some errands and will join them as soon as I can, "she told her friend Lily over the phone.

After she finishes speaking with her friend, she ends the call and walks back to her car.

She will go to the municipality of this place and acquire a permit to hold a wedding. She is absolutely certain that she will get it. Has she inquired about it before, right? The mayor she spoke with before was accommodating. She prayed while driving to the municipal office.

Arriving at the municipality, she looks around to find a parking space. After finding a space to park her car. She gathered herself and walked towards the city mayor's office. She is praying and hoping that she will get the permit she prayed for.

She could see the woman sitting at the desk next to the mayor's office. She walks towards her.

"Good morning! she greeted the woman.

"Good morning! What can I do for you, Miss? The woman greeted her back.

"I wish to talk with the mayor," she replied.

"Do you have an appointment with the mayor?" The woman asks.

"I have spoken to him before, and I told him that I will come back," she replied.
