3rd Story.. "LOVE is in the Air!"

I am having a hard time grasping this situation. I'm In love with my friend. I never thought that it would happen, not even in my dreams. It just happened. You know what, when I found out about this thing I asked myself, "Why?"

Then I sought my friends' advice about this. I asked them if it's okay to avoid him. They said it will just be more obvious if I would suddenly stop talking to him.

But, I just did waht I believed was the right thing to do. Whenever our paths would cross, I just ignored him.

Then, one time.. He cornered me and asked if something was wrong. He was wondering why I was avoiding him. I said nothing was wrong and left hurriedly.

But after that talk, I found myself drawing closer to him again. We laughed at our silly jokes, kulitan, at kwentuhan.. We giggled at all the silly things we could think of.

Then one day, beacuse of a friend, he found out that I had feelings for him. He told me, "that's okay, it normally happens.." He assured me that the fact that I have feelings for him won't change anything in our friendship..

That was exactly what happened.. We remained friends though I knew that I love him more than he would ever know. 

Until one incident happened.. He ad to leave me beacuse of a certain reason. When he told me about it, I began to cry in front of him.. I swallowed my pride because I decided that I would end up hurting more if I would miss the cance to let him know what I was feeling. I told him that I really care for him and that I value him not just a simple friend but a special someone. He remained silent and he walked out on me. I texted him everyday, but he ignored me.

Months passed, I kept on texting him and asked if he was dating someone already. I begged him to reply so that I can stop my foolishness and start the long process of moving on. But he didn't answer my question. He just texted me saying he was okay, but he didn't tell me to stop loving him. In my mind, I was convinced that there must still be hope for us.

A year passed and I received a text message from a girl. She said that she wanted to know who I was. I found out that she was my friend's girlfriend and that they have been dating for a year already. That day, I cried my heart out. I still love my friend..
