Little Darling
You know that pain that surges through you so fast? The one that stops you from breathing and make you feel so weak.
It's just pain, pure pain.
So as I am sitting by the window tonight, it's surging through me and I only wish that you were here to hug and make it all better. Like the time you did when Saran told everyone that I was a liar in fifth grade, and I cried just like I am now sitting by this window. You came and hugged and soothed the pain away.
This pain is different though.
This time it isn't a little girl's heart being broken, it's a girl's soul being dragged out of her slowly, and she can't wish for anything else but to have you by her side.
So I close my eyes and I imagine you here, it doesn't make me feel better, nor does it make the pain any less, but I need you. Oh I need you so much. I'm falling into the pitch black hole I am digging for myself.
And all that is keeping me from reaching the end is the memories of laugh, of your smile. Just memories of you.
I really, really miss you.
