The smell of cinnamon wafts through the dimly lit conference room. The room currently was quiet; the only sound heard was the ticking of the clock. The tall mahogany table was occupied by seven irritated souls.
"I cannot believe this. Shouldn't I be the only one here?" the woman with a crown on her head cut the silence for the third time, "I'm supposed to meet the person that will solve most of my problems. But here I am, with a room full of clueless- "
"You're just as clueless as the rest of us, so quit your unnecessary bickering." the green faced female said to the woman seated in front of her through gritted teeth; setting the room to another antagonizing silence.
The clock keeps ticking through two other arguments between the seven, and only halts to a stop when it reaches 12.
At 12 every face in the room looks alert, will their questions finally be answered?
A soft hum echoes from the walls, and forms into a deep voice that slithers into everyone's thoughts. "Please excuse my one hour delay, I know how some of you despise tardiness, but some issues popped out of nowhere, and had to be fulfilled,"
Before anyone could interject, the unfamiliar voice continued on.
"You all may be wondering why there are six other unfamiliar faces in this room, and the answer is simple. You all want the same thing, and I just happen to have it. The thing happens to be the solution for all of your main problems: eliminate that one called hero who destroys all your great plans for the future. For you to get that, I need one thing in return."
"Elaborate."
"And that thing is?"
The man with the black beard and a man with three feet ask at the same time.
"Ah yes. The only thing I want in return is that I would like you all to work together. All of your enemies have something in common, and only cooperation can be the solution for this situation-"
"No thank you." A man in a white suit interrupts. "Thank you for the offer, but I'd rather do this task on my own."
The man stands up from his chair, ready to leave.
Suddenly he disappears, and reappears in his chair not three seconds later.
"Ah ah ah peace keeper, since you've already come here, there's no going back. I can kill you all at once with ease, but that would just be nasty business. I suggest you all agree with what I have to say."
"And who do you think you are to order me around?!" shrieks the crowned lady. "Do you know who I am? I am the queen of-"
"Oh, I know who you are," the voice speaks while it somehow squeezes all the air from the queen's lungs. She thrashes her hands around, trying to push away the invisible force away, but there is nothing there to move. "You're the Queen of Hearts, and you shall do as I say." It lets go of the Queen and she slumps back to her seat, gasping for air.
"None of your powers will work on me here, so I suggest that you don't waste our time and try. Starting from tomorrow you'll all be a part of the plan to exterminate your enemies. All your dreams may come true after they're gone, and all you have to do to achieve that is work together and do as I say. Everything will be explained to you and your questions will be answered. Tomorrow.
"Captain, Queen, Castor, Witch, Vulcan, Peacekeeper, and Nightmare, you will all be teleported to your designated spaces right now. Please don't panic. If everything goes as I planned, all parties would be happy and I will not have to use force against any of you."
The voice then proceeds to vanish everyone to thin space, before any of them could argue or open their mouths.
