Odette's Point of View
I watched Alaina's pink tail flap around as I swam under the salty water, holding my breath. Lana's slimy green tail slapped my legs, as a way to tell me to get out. I swam back up and hit the warm air as I soaked in the afternoon sun,
"Odette, you shouldn't scare us." They looked stern, but I couldn't take them seriously with their bright tails and mermaid features. I laughed loudly, grinning at Peter who was hiding, and put his index finger to his lips in a 'be quiet' motion. "What are you laughing at?" asked one of the dumbest mermaids.
I rolled my eyes and looked at her. "Nothing." I also gave her a small smile to be nice. I mean, it wasn't her fault she couldn't comprehend information like we did.
"BOO!"
"Aaahh!" Shrieked all the mermaids as Peter Pan and I laughed like maniacs. "Peter, that was hilarious!"
"It was scary!"
"It was loud!"
"My hair is wet now!"
"You're a mermaid!"
"But it ruined my curls!"
Peter and I kept laughing as the mermaids whined and argued with each other.
As I took a deep breath, to prepare myself to dive. I hear a faint blood-curling scream. Forgetting about my salt water adventures, I hurriedly look around. Apparently no one had noticed the scream but me.
Shakily, I grabbed on the mermaids' hands as they helped me back over the rocks, and to the beach. "I'll be right back" I said quietly. No one noticed my absence as the sisters forgot their anger and fawned over Peter.
Running to a different part of the island, away from the rocky area and to the beautiful white sand of Neverland's open beaches.
Scanning the area with my bright emerald eyes, I identified a body that looked like it had washed up on the shore. Moving closer, I realized the body wasn't moving.
Gasping, I dropped to my knees next to the body of the tall blonde.
"Hello, Odette!" yelled Nibs joyfully with the rest of the lost boys as his bunny ears from his suit flapped around
"Boys! Come help me lift her to Peter's tree! Quickly!" the six lost boys saluted and quickly ran to help me.
We pulled her by her arms and legs for two inches then dropped her. And that was the way it was until Peter's tree.
"C'mon! Put her on the bed! Tink, quickly get me a white rosebud petal!" As the boys and I put the blond on the table, Tinkerbell flew around getting the flower.
"Okay, Tootles, get me the bandage and cool water! Make sure it's not too cold!" I yelled out instructions to the humblest of the boys as he ran around in his skunk suit, getting me what I need.
I brushed the girl's blond hair, which was crusty from the bleeding gash on her forehead, away from the blood and wiped the excess blood, which had dried, off her face. I quickly took the white rosebud petal from Tink and poured three table spoons of the cool water into it. I let the antidote from the petal mix with the liquid.
After a couple minutes, I poured the water straight from the petal, in drops, to the girl's forehead. After it was bleeding less and was clean enough, I wrapped the bandage tightly against the wound to stop the bleeding.
As I was tightening the bandage and collecting her hair to one side, the blond girl opened her stormy grey-blue eyes.
"Hello." I greeted her, softly smiling, as she squinted and looked around. Realizing she didn't recognize the place, her eyes widened as she quickly scrambled up and the back of her head hit the headboard.
