The next morning Normani had a photo shoot. Her agent Stacey told her to be there early so she could get to hair and makeup. She was there early like she was told to do and went to get hair and makeup done.

Lauren woke up from her alarm. She groaned and hit snooze until she heard banging on her hotel room door. "Go away!" she yelled covering her head with the pillow.

"Lauren wake up you have an interview with Chelsea Briggs, come on we can't be late," Steph said from the other side of the door. Lauren groaned again and dragged herself out of bed. She stripped out of her boxers and sports bra turned on the shower and got in.

The warm water felt nice on her sore muscles, she wanted to stay under the warm water but she knew she had to get ready for her interview. After Lauren showered she got dressed and went down to the lobby where Steph was.

"Come on we have to get going," she said walking out to Lauren's driver and got in the car. "Lauren please don't say stupid shit please," Steph begged. "Don't worry Steph I'm not I promise," Lauren said.

The rest of the rode was silent. Lauren started to think of Normani. She wanted to text her so bad, but she didn't want to seem desperate. Lauren shook it off and texted her anyway.

Lauren: Hey it's Lauren sorry if I'm bothering you but I wanted to talk to you

Almost as soon as she texted her she got a reply. Lauren smiled and looked down to read the text.

ManiBear 🐻😇: Hi Lauren of course you're not bothering me I'm just in hair and makeup for a shoot where are you

Lauren: I'm on my way to do a live interview with Chelsea Briggs

ManiBear 🐻😇: I'm going to watch it if that means I can look at your pretty face

Lauren: you're too cute Mani

ManiBear 🐻😇: yeah I get that a lot lol

Lauren: I'm sure you do but are you free after your shoot

ManiBear 🐻😇: I sure am what are you planning Jauregui

Lauren: maybe I was planning on taking you out to dinner

ManiBear 🐻😇: are you asking me out on a date Jauregui

Lauren: hmmm maybe I am Kordei so will you go out to dinner well technically it's lunch but will you go with me

ManiBear 🐻😇: of course I would love to!

Lauren: great! I'll pick you up at 3?

ManiBear 🐻😇: that's perfect see you then Lauren

Lauren: ok bye Mani

Normani looked up from her phone and smiled widely, she couldn't hide her smile at all.

Normani watched the live stream for Lauren's interview like she said she was going to do.

"Today we have a special guest with us," Chelsea said looking at Lauren. "Lauren Jauregui, how are you? You look great babe," Chelsea said pulling Lauren in for a hug. Lauren smiled and hugged her back.

"Hey Chelsea I'm doing great!" Lauren said smiling.

Normani smiled her screen when she saw Lauren smile.

"So I saw your performance at the fashion show. You and Drake did amazing by the way. I also saw you look at few of the models as they walked past you." Chelsea smirked as Lauren looked down and blushed.
