I was going down the stairs. I wanted to know what they were fighting about. I just wanted to know. I went to the kitchen it became quiet.
I sat down, my mother Jessica held my hand. I looked at her eyes, they were tearing up. "Becca, there's something me and your father need to tell you." She started to cry. Now I know what they were going to say. But I kept it for myself. "Me and your mother. It haven't been the best between us."
"So me and your father, we're getting divorced. It's for the best."
My heart smashed into pieces. I couldn't believe it. I thought that they could sort that out but I knew a long time ago that this day would come. I was starting to cry but I held the pain back. I looked out the window. " So you're sure about this?"
They looked at each other. "You and your mother are going to a little town. It's a little bit distance from here. But you can visit here any time you want. You're starting a new school you're going to meet tons of new friend." I laughed inside of me I don't have
so much friends here in my current school.
"So what's the town called?" I asked.
"Fallsvalley" they both said.
