Broken Shroud

PROLOGUE

here inside the pages of this book we find a story,a story of hardship, of friendship and the reclamation of vale and beacon academy from the creatures of grimm and other monstrosities hidden in the dark waiting to strike the weak and rule over all. But that is where the hero's of our story come into play, team RWNZ, the people's hero's , a band of ragged mismatched people all with different ideals and plans for themselves and others around them. Our hero's mission is simple. Save vale. But to do that they have to find the best team that beacon academy has created to save the city from destruction, team RWBY. This team has broken almost beyond repair but has a chance to be fixed by one team, team RWNZ. Now I believe it's time to introduce our hero's identities, first is our heroic leader with a humble beginning in a small town, one day, while exploring he surrounding forest he was a attacked by huge black beast covered in coarse black fur with white armor plates stick out randomly this beast was an ursa, bleeding while running through the crimson trees a mysterious stranger stopped him in his tracks just by calmly approaching him, this man had a long ragged black cape with blood red on the inside, spiked black hair and a white button down shirt with black pants, but these weren't what raras noticed most, it was his sword that impressed him. It's long black handle with intricate patterns running up the sliver blade which was segment for a unknown purpose. As the man approached raras with a smile and said," watch this." And walked towards the ursa sprinting towards them, calmly he stood his ground taking a sip out of a canister he produced from his pocket and the ursa approached ever close and with one swipe of his beautiful blade behead the beast without getting a drop of blood on the blade. The man turned around and walked towards raras and told him to lie down as he cleaned the wound, after that the man stood and began to walk away while saying "you better run home kid before your parents think one of these got you " he said while prodding the ursa with his sword. From that day forward raras was inspired to become the best hunter he could and help the helpless when ever possible. That is team RWNZ heroic leader raras.
Next we have the team's most dangerous member not because of skills but because if you've got something she wants and she really wants it you'll have to hid in the coldest place you know just to keep her away and even then she might still get you, Our next member is Willis the thief. Contrary to the name Willis, is a girl with flaming red hair and steely gray eyes and when you see those eyes lock onto you, you better start running. Our thief was raised by streets didn't even get her name from her parents but from her obsession of sneaking into theaters to see action movies which other picked up on and named her Willis. Willis was on the streets at three and being a faunus that made life even harder. She didn't receive Hand out from shelters like others did which caused her to begin a life of crime, she became a master pickpocket at five years of age, at 10 she was a cat burglar able to break in through Windows and doors like they were already open. Soon after she had become a thief she realized how horrible life on the street was with constant muggings, disease, and terrible winters, the only way she could think of to escape it was become a Hunter one of best and brightest to escape the life of poverty.
And that is how the team got their thief.
Our next hero came from a perfect life both parents, a home and the biggest imagination there is, but it was only focused on one thing becoming the best. From a young age Nelson learned all different types of grimm, how to handle weapons properly, how to use a semblance, he was determined to make it and wasn't going to stop till he was there at beacon leading a team of hunters through swarms of grimm, saving towns and being a hero. Unfortunately his dreams were shattered when his uncle, his inspiration to become a Hunter died in a city when it was overran by grimm. From that day he swore he would kill all grimm to avenge his uncle and shattered dreams. Nelson is the team's broken hero.
Lastly we have the lone wolf, zinque. living in the desert isn't hard unless your being chased down by a gang that killed your parents over money, didn't get the money, and decided that you had it on you and started a rundown after you. This was zinque's early years were spent on the run hiding in bars and desert caves avoiding the gang while training and planning on taking them on. He learned the best way to get money on the run were bounties, this way he was able to earn money and get revenge on the people that killed his parents. This is the team's lone wolf.
These are the people meant to rescue vale from the grimm by putting its best team back together and exposing vales dark secrets lurking beneath the surface. This is their story, and vale's last hope for peace.
