The heavy rain blanketed everything in the city; the wet streets empty from any forms of life, all but for one lone person taking shelter squatting in an underpass tunnel while watching the rain fall in silence as music from headphones that rested on shoulders blared a song on repeat, echoing through the tunnel like the person's own personal boom-box.

Hood obscuring face as this person remained watching the rain paying no heed to the three men heading over, their expression of much aggression as they walked over to the one squatting on the ground.

"So this is the punk that's been causing all the fuss?" one who seemed to be the leader, spat with a sneer on his face. "It's just some fucking kid," the leader made his way closer. "We've been hearing that you've been stealing money from some of my crew. You got a death wish you little brat?!"

The person didn't answer; instead the person began to hum along with the song that was being played.

"Hey!" the man kicked the wall next to where the person was crouched. "Are you deaf or something you scrawny ass prick?" he demanded. "Answer me before I crack your damn skull against the ground!"

The person then stopped humming, froze completely in place and remained as such for a moment then turned to look at them, the three men froze and the person smiled.

The rain grew louder, falling harder than before as cars drove overhead trying to out of the storm. The people above unaware of what had just taken place below them.

The person wearing the hoodie stood looking down at the broken bodies of the three men, two of which who now showed no signs of life as there blood was swept away by the heavy rain and into a nearby drain.

"So this was all you three had?" hands shoved in pockets of the money that once belonged to them men. "How lame, and you bastards had the balls to break me out my Zen feeling. You know I really did hope to not kill anyone on my last day in this boring city but..." leaning down to the one that still held breath the person smiled and picked up the crowbar almost lazily, the metal slowly dragging against the pavement that echoed along with the music that still played loudly. "Then where's the fun in that? You assholes had it coming. Harassing good folks just trying to make a living, and scaring kids like you're the big man. But where is that now with your pals lying dead on the ground, broken and unmoving like dolls thrown away. No longer cared for, and no longer needed. Which goes without saying..." arms raised up with the crowbar to the man's head. "That no one will miss you when you are gone."

The final blow echoed through the tunnel, the man now lying dead with his fellow miscreants in arms. The person then dropped the crowbar into a nearby drain that would lead to the sewer, with this much rain even something of that calibre would be taken far away in the current, before walking away into the heavy beating of the rain without a word as the music finally began to fade.
