-Kaori's pov-
I rolled over in the sand, greeted with the hot sun burning down on me.
I look over to Juvia tiredly then stand up. I stretch and walk over to the water.
The rinse me face and sigh.
"Goodmorning" I whisper to myself.

I cup my hands and fill them with sea water before running to Juvia and dropping it on her face.
"GAH!!!" She screams and rolls away.
"K-kaori!! Screams Juvia.

-at the guild hall-

"I still have sand in my hair" I say laughing.
"Juvia has it in her ears thanks to Kaori" Juvia laughs at me.
"You could go wash it out you know?" I laugh harder.
"True!!!" She yells and runs to the bathroom. I crack up laughing and stand up. I sat happily at the bar talking to Mira and laughing slightly at the people she though would be a good couple when gray comes over to me with a flyer.

"Oi k, wanna go on a mission with me?" He asks sitting down.
"K?" I laugh smiling sweetly.
"Yeah why not" he laughs.
"Well I think I will come what is it?" I ask looking at the flyer.
"Well it's kind of a long one.." He trails off.
"Like how long?" I ask curiously.
"Like a fortnight?" he says unsure looking down.
"Okay what do we do?" I smile
"We have to go the forest and rescue a missing girl" he says smiling at me
"I only want to do it cause the reward is huge" he says smiling.
I look down and see three million Jewel
"OH MY GOODNESS IM IN!" I yell, attempted to be quiet
"Then go get ready" he says and stands up.
I stand up and walk over to Natsu.

"Natsu?" I ask
"What's up?" He says and turns around.
"Gray wanted me to go on a mission with him and we might be away for a while, can you get Juvia to look after my place when she comes back please?" I ask and put my hands together.
"Do you have any food?" He asks curiously
"Yeah" I laugh and give him the keys.
"Coooooool, have a good quest" he says and goes back to eating his sandwich.

I walk out again and go home to pack.

I push open the door to my forest home and walk up the stairs, into my large bedroom.
I pull out my suitcase and start to stuff it full of clothes.

About twenty minutes of packing later I start to count all the things I have.
"Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Deodorant
Tissues
Lip balm" I check my toiletries.

"Socks
Underwear and bras
Shoes
Trackies
Jeans
Shorts
Skirts" I put all my bottoms in the suitcase as well.
"Shirts
Jumper and Jacket
Pj top" I say and put them all in too.
"What am I missing?" I think and sit down.
"Oh!" I say quietly
"Pillow and a blanket" I say and pick up one.

I get up, put my things at the door then walk back over to the bedroom
'Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeep' I think it myself as I lay in bed sighing.
"Tomorrow will be fun."I say quietly and shut my eyes.

After a good twenty minutes of my tossing and turning I finally fall asleep.

"PST KAORI!!!" Natsu whisper screams in my face as I jerk upright instantly waking up.
"Wh-ow-ja and-?" I say and slump back down to my bed
"Oh, it's you Natsu" I say and rub my eyes.
"What's up?" I say tiredly while snuggling up into my blankets.
"Nothing I just wanted to make sure you gave me the right keys" he says laughing and climbs into bed with me.
"Oh?" I say and move slightly, confused for why he got in.
"I'm sure you would of just gone through the window anyway" I say and shift away from him slightly as he centres himself in the middle of the bed.
"True" he says and shuts his eyes.
I look at him and smile slightly at his goofy face.
He rests his face down in the pillow and within seconds is out like a light.

I giggle and climb out of bed slowly, careful not to wake the sleeping dragon.
I tuck him in the sheets and lean down to his face level.
I softly rest my hand on his forehead.

"Ano wagadoto shi togukiya" I whisper and a light blue glow forms under my hand, I press down on his forehead and step back.
'Now he will know where to find me if anything happens' I think and walk into the bathroom.

After about two hours I am ready to go.
I walk into the kitchen and make Natsu some pancakes, I place them on the table then grab all my things.

I walk outside and shut the door lightly behind me.

I hum to the tune of a song the whole way to grays house.

I knock on the door and hear footsteps running towards the door.
"Hey! Welcome in" he says and opens the door.
I walk in smiling and put my things down at the door.
"Are you ready?" He asks, dragging his things to the door.
"You know it!" I laugh and pick up my bags
"Then lets go" he says and pulls the door shut behind him.
