What happened to being free?
Instead we're all locked up in our own cages
Afraid to turn the key and open the door to possibility
Afraid to fail and lose it all
Afraid to take that chance
Mistakes happen
You'll fail
You'll lose
I know that now
But how do you pick yourself up again?
Without that moment haunting you, teasing you
Waiting for you to mess up again
I know how to fail
I just don't know how to carry on
How do you push away the past without damaging the present and future?
I'm stuck in the same chapter
Afraid to move on
Afraid to fail
Will it mess up my future?
My present?
How do I carry on?
