Chapter 2: Truce

Klaus's P.O.V

Do my vampire hearing ears deceive me or did Elena Gilbert, the doppelganger that not so long ago wouldn't even let me touch a single strand of her hair, is now granting me permission of using her blood to make hybrids.

"Klaus are you okay, you seem alittle pale?" She asked me placing her palm on my cheak I was just starting to get over the shock of what she told me, and now I am full if shock again by her caring actions. "Why?" "I figured, since I'm tired of people trying to control me and telling me what to do, and the two most annoying and abusive brothers I know are dead, and as long as you don't kill me, we can forgive and forget." She suggested. "But still, I hurt the people you love almost killed Jeremy, killed your aunt Jenna, for bloody sakes I even killed you!" I exclaimed. "But you had good reason. You want to be at home with your family. But if it doesn't work out your backup plan of never being alone and betrayed is to have your hybrids. Hell even I might do that! I just think you went through so much with the abuse of your father that you will do anything to protect those you love, you just didn't get a wake up call saying your slightly overdoing it." She says, saying the last part with a chuckle. I laughed. A real genuine laugh I had in a long time. "So if I say yes, where will you live? Considering the fact that I slightly doubt that the little Scooby gang will never let you be a one hundred meters near me?" "I honestly don't know. But I do know that I'm a person not a fragile object that will break any moment, I can defend myself rather well. They can't tell me what to do, and if they try to I have stakes all around this house, dark objects in my parents room, not to mention I can fight off Matt. Jeremy might be a problem but I will manage with a syringe that can make him go to sleep that is in my room." I just look at her in shock. Elena might human but, girl can fight. Then I thought about it, "Hey, I got an idea!" "What is it!" She asked. "What if I put the mansion under your name so no unwanted vampire can get in and get a witch to do a spell that no witch or human or werewolf can get in without you inviting them in!" "That's a great idea!" She ran and huged me. I tensed a little but huged back. I pulled back, "Are you sure you want to live with me and my siblings?" "Sure. I don't mind. It gives me the chance to apologize to everyone.... Hey klaus?" "Yes,love?" "Thank you, and I'm sorry." She said. "You have nothing to be sorry for where as I should be the one to apologize, so Elena I am sorry for the wrongs I have done to your life. And I should be thanking you!" I exclaimed. I couldn't tell because she had her head down, but it looked like she was blushing. Oh my god I made her blush! She looked up, "I forgive you. I hope we can call it a truce." I extend my hand to her and said, "How about it, Elena. Truce?" She giggled. God she is so beautiful. What the hell! Why am I thinking like this! "Truce." She said shaking my hand. We both hold on a lot longer and I pulled back smiling. Something tells me this is going to be the beginning of something big.

Elena's P.O.V

I was excited but slightly nervous considering I daggered both Elijah and Rebekah and almost killed Kol but didn't out of guilt. He looked surprised when I didn't kill and apologized though.

"Okay,love, go start packing things you want to take with you. But we won't bring it there now we will after we talk to my siblings." Klaus says, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Okay" I said as I walk up the stairs. I pack my clothes, some bathroom essentials, my make-up+black nail polish, and some photos. It took one suit case and a bag to pack up my stuff. I grabbed the stuff went downstairs and put the stuff in the living room.

I look around and see that Klaus is not here. "Klaus?" "Yes,love?" He asked coming from the kitchen. "No I was just wondering where you were." "Oh I was in the kitchen raiding." I laughed."Aren't you a vampire?" "I am also part werewolf so I crave human food too. So yeah, by the way, love you need to learn how stock up on food. How do eat in here?" He asked. I chuckled." Well Mr.Mikaelson, there is a thing called take out. I don't know how to cook so, yeah that's how I survive." "Well let's get going then shall we." "Okay". I grab my keys and walked out with Klaus and locked the door and made my way to his car.

We drove to the Mikaelson mansion and he parked in front and speed to my side and opened the door me. "Thank you." "Your welcome." He answered with a smile and I smiled back. We walked to the front door and he opened it and stepped aside so I can go in. "Nik, who did you bring home?" I hear Rebekah ask walking down the stairs. She stopped in her tracks when she saw me. She sped to klaus and had him by the throat against the wall. "Why is she here Nik? Did you kidnapped her? Did you hurt the poor girl?" She asked him, her gripp getting harder. "Rebekah I came here willingly with him." I told her trying to calm her down. She let go of Nik and turned to me." Why you come here willingly knowing everything my family and have I have done to you and your friends?" She asked. "Nothing we had never done. We hurt you guys as much as you hurt us. I'm sorry on my behalf for what I did to you and your siblings." I said looking at both Klaus and Rebekah. "I forgive you and I am sorry too." "Its in the past. I have forgiven your family long ago. And Elijah I know your hiding up the stairs." I said turning my head towards the stairs. Elijah came down with a smile. "How did you know he was up there? Even I didn't sence him." Klaus asked. "I learned how to sence if someone is around me. And my gard was up because any moment one of my so called friends could get in and try to hurt you." "Well Elena I must say what makes you want to forgive us?" Eljah asked. "Well Elijah, I can see the good in all of you. I want to be your friend not your enemy. I can trust you guys. More than my 'friends' at home." He looked shocked but recovered immediately and smiled. "Nik will she be staying with us?" Rebekah asked with leading eyes. "Yes she is." "Finally. That way I won't suffocate with the amount of males in this house." We all laughed. The door opens and Kol walked in. "Nik what did you do to Elena?" We all laughed. "Why does everyone think I did something?" We all looked at him. We told Kol everything. He ran and hugged me. "Finally I can have a little sibling! I'm tired of being the youngest." I hugged back and we all laughed. I went back with Rebekah to get my things. And came back to the mansion. I settled in. "Hey guys I'm kind of tired I'm going to sleep." I told everyone. "Goodnight Elena!" They all said. "Goodnight! I yelled back walking to my room. I changed into pj's and was out like a light the second my head hit the pillow.
