The Vampire princess

chapter 1

It was a normal day at forest high school. I was sitting in my math class working on simple algebra equations when the loud speakers came on:

"Attention all staff and students, due to bad on coming wether all students and staff are being released early"

This wasn't out-of-the-ordinary for our school. Since we're located on the outskirts of the legendary slenderman woods, where there is a lot of electrical storms. So after I got my stuff and backpack I started the long walk back to the place I've called home for the past 8 years: ms. Ally's home for girls.

I got inside just as the storm hit. But I felt uneasy on the way back, I still do, on the way back I felt like I was being fallowed the whole way back. I then noticed ms. Ally our caretaker walking towards me.

"Ah, Emily, there you are, I'm glad you made it back in time before the storm hit, what's wrong, you look worried?" Oh, what? I'm fine....it's just the storm"*sigh* well, do you have any homework?" Yah, I have some math" ok, go on ahead and get that started, I'll be up in a little bit to bring you up a snack"

I nodded and headed up to my room on the 6th floor, the 6th door on the right.

It's been about 4 hours now. I've finished my homework and the storm just keeps growing and growing, but as the storm gru stronger, a pain was growing in my head, eyes, mussels, bones and everywhere else in my body. It was wired and painful, so, I has ms. Ally give me some ibuprofen. It's didn't help so I just decided to go to bed hopping the pain would go away.

I woke up with my entire body in pain and with my skin burning hot as if it was on fire. There was the sound of thunder and a flash of lightning. The pain got suddenly worse. I screamed out in pain. Ms. Ally ran in to my room with all the other kids close behind, all whom had worried faces.

"OH MY WORD! EMILY! WHATS WRONG!?" MY ENTIRE BODY IS IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN MY SKIN FEELS LIKE ITS ON FIRE!!"

I saw me. Ally's face tern from a worried expression to a calm serious one. She clearly knew what was going on, and I wanted to know. She got up and clamly walked up to the kids at my door.

"Children, go back to your rooms, don't worry, I got this, she'll be fine"

They all nodded worryingly as they all walked back to their rooms. There was another crash of thunder and flash of lightning as the pain just got a million times worse. I scrame out in pain even louder. Ms. Ally quickly shut the door, locked it and quickly ran back over to me.

"I know I know sweet heart, I know it hurts, you just need to stay calm and let it take it's course" WHATS HAPPENING TO ME?!!!"

Suddenly the pain and burning just stopped. My top two k9s felt abnormally sharp and long, my vision became a lot better, I was able to see in the dark to, my bones felt stronger, I felt faster, my skin felt cold, cold as ice, I was also hungry for one thing and one thing only would be able to satisfy my hunger. The pain was gone and I was now calm and very tired out. When I looked at me. Ally she had a calm, relieved smile on her face.

"What happened to me?" I'll tell you what you need to know tomorrow, but for now, you need to rest, and don't worry about school, I'll take care of it"

I nodded tirely with a yawn and slowly fell asleep.
