Aria's P.O.V
I officially hate giving birth. After you give birth your period come back, but ten times worse. Ugh! But in the bright side I'm skinny again. Sergio was sleeping on the small couch. It was funny though. His legs were hanging and so was his head. It was cute at the same time though. The nurse came in with the babies. This was my first time seeing them. The nurse showed me how to properly hold the babies. You have to hold the babies head up with the crease of your elbow because they can't support their weight, and then with your other arm is just for support. I picked up Anthony first.
"Hey Anthony. It's finally good to see you. You're so handsome. You look exactly like your daddy. Your eyelashes are long just like his. You're so small, it's cute. I've always wanted a child, just not this early. But that's okay, you and Irene are worth it." I grabbed his hand and kissed it. His eyes fluttered open, and Sergio was right. He had grey eyes. I smiled. "Hey, you have grey eyes just like Nana (Grandma). They're gorgeous." His lips puckered and I gently kissed them. He then had a small smile on his face and I smiled back. "You're so cute. You're lips are soft just like Daddy's." I ran my fingers through his hair. "You hair is thick just like mine, and you have a lot of it too. I can't believe Sergio and I made you. You're beautiful." I said and kissed his forehead. I put him back to the glass be and picked up Irene.
She was much smaller than Anthony. Her eyes were already open and they were blue. I smiled, knowing she got that from my dad. "Hi Irene. It's Mommy. You look just like me, but your eyes are big. Mine aren't very big. And I don't have blue eyes. I can't believe you're mine. You're lips are so small." I said gently touching them. "Your nose is so tiny. It's cute. I can't believe how similar you look to me. You're exactly like me, it's kinda weird though. I've never had anyone else look like me." I looked over at Sergio who was still passed out. I laughed a little and lifted Irene up a little more. "Look, that's Daddy. He's asleep. Isn't it funny?" I giggled. I kissed her forehead and put her back to her glass bed.
I laid back in my bed and watched TV. this TV sucks though. It doesn't haw any music channels, and it doesn't have MTV. But it does have Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. I switched it to Nickelodeon and Sanjay and Craig was on. That show is so weird, but I ended up watching it. I got my hospital cup filled with water and sipped from it. I heard a knock on the door and a crowd of people come in. It was Sergio's mom, my dad, Cruz and some girl that looks really familiar. Cruz's and the girls hands were locked together.
I smiled at all of them and that all smiled back at me.
"Hey guys. Long time no see." I said in a hushed voice. I didn't want to wake up Sergio or disturb the babies.
"Hi. How's my Princessa doing?" Dad said and came up to me. He smiled widely at me. He kissed my forehead and said, "You're gonna have to do a lot of work now. Online school and take care of the babies. That seems like a lot for a sixteen year old, don't you think?"
"Yeah, it will. Like I didn't mean to get pregnant. But, I was gonna have children one day, it's just came really early." I said. I saw Sergio's mom was already busy with Anthony.
Cruz came up to me and hugged me. "Hey Funny Face." He said. I laughed at that. When I was little that was my nickname, because whenever anyone was down I would always and I mean always cheer them up with a funny face. "Hey Stink Brain." I said lightly punching his arm. He laughed when I said that. I would call him Stink Brain because we watched Wreck It Ralph with my cousin, she was like four, and after the movie she always called Cruz Stink Brain.
"How'd it go?" He asked.
"How do you think it went? Horrible. It hurt like a lot." I said.
"Oh," He said not having anything else to say. I chuckled a little knowing that was a little awkward for him.
"Who's that?" I asked him pointing at the girl he came in with.
"Oh. She's my girlfriend. Do you remember her?" He asked.
"I don't know, but she looks really familiar." I said.
Cruz motioned her to come over. He put his arm around her waist and held her close. He whispered something in her ear. "Hi, uh, I'm Raianna. I don't know if you remember me or not but we were like best friends a long tome ago." Raianna said.
Raianna, that rung a bell. I remember we used to be so close, then she went to college for four years. "Hey." I said and smiled widely. "What happened with college? Weren't you suppose to go for four years? It's only been one." I said.
"I didn't really like it. It was weird." She said.
"Oh. Well, I hope we get to see each other a lot." I said smiling. "Me too." She said giving me a warm smile.
Then Sergio's mom spoke. "Aria honey, he reminds me so much of Sergio's dad. It's amazing how much they look alike.
"What does his dad look like?" I asked.
She put Anthony back and reached into her purse and pulled out her wallet. She got a small picture and showed it to me. "That's our family. Sergio was like nine. We took the picture right before Francisco left to Cancun." She said.
"Can I see the picture?" I asked. She nodded and handed me the picture. "So, Sergio's dad has been away for almost ten years?" I asked.
"Yeah, it was really hard." She said. "What are their names?" She asked.
"Irene Yvette and Anthony Sergio." I said. She smiled and put her attention back to the babies.
I looked at the picture and compared Anthony and Sergio's dad. It's scary, because they look exactly the same, except for the grey eyes. I examined the picture and noticed another little boy standing next to Sergio around his age at the time. "Hey, Mrs. Mendez. Who's that other little boy?" I asked.
I saw tears well in her eyes already. "That's Sergio's brother. They were a year away. He passed a couple years ago." She said in a shaky voice.
Brother?
A/N: Whoa, Sergio has a brother. Was anyone expecting that? I bet you didn't (;
Raianna is actually my real best friend. We've been best friends since I was like 2.
Please tell me what you think :)
