15 years later...

She sat in the pure white sand by the beach with her knees to her chest. She wore a light blue bikini with her hair loose. She watched the waves crash into the shore, and the surfers catching waves. She buried her feet in the soft warm sand, relaxing.
Emily was a 15 year old girl, with a special gift, magic. She had long wavy brown hair, freckles, and sapphire blue eyes that changed to a fiery tint when she used magic. She slowly opened the palm of her hand, and a beautiful blue butterfly flew out. She smiled at the butterfly she had created with her magic. Everyday she wondered how she did it, but she never found the answer to her endless questions. She quickly closed her hand and the beautiful butterfly quickly flew away, once she saw her best friend, Abbie, run over to her, surfboard in hands.
"C'mon, Emily! you're missing all the good waves!" Her friend yelled.
"You always say that, Abbie." Emily rolled her eyes, mentally counting how many times her friend had said that.
"Just come on. You're the best surfer out here!" Abbie exclaimed, as she pulled Emily up by her wrist with a jolt.
The only reason I'm good is cause I use magic, she thought. "Fine." She zipped up her black wetsuit, and grabbed her white surfboard that was resting in the white sand next to her.
The two teens carried their boards into the crystal blue waves, ignoring the guys seeking attention by acting cool. Abbie's shoulder length blonde locks were tied up in a high pony tail. She had an excited look on her face, her brown eyes shining, and a big smile on her pink lips.
"Jenna's really tearing it up out there! What do you think?" Abbie asked Emily.
"Yeah," Emily replied, as she looked out at the waves while getting onto her board. "She's improved."
More excitement filled Abbie's big grin as a perfect wave was starting to form. "here's the perfect wave, Emily! C'mon!"
They both started to paddle away from the wave, allowing it to catch them. Emily quickly sprang to her feet and balanced herself. She used a bit of magic to help control her board, ripping through the crystal blue waves. She felt the oceanic breeze in her long wavy hair and face. The view was spectacular. She could see the whole endless beach and pier crowded with visitors and tourists. She heard her supportive friends clapping and cheering her on, and grinned.
Samuel strolled onto the beach, his brown hair streaked with small thin grey hairs, and a hint of a beard growing on his chin. He looked to his left in confusion, seeing a small crowd gathering by a group of 5 surfers. He strolled over to the crowd to see what it was all about. He noticed his 15 year old daughter, wearing her black wetsuit and long brown hair hanging loose. She had a big grin on her face and her sapphire blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight. He pushed his way through the semi thick crowd, making his way to his daughter.
"Emily, can I speak to you?" He asked his daughter, as she glanced in his direction.
"Yeah, one sec, Dad." She replied, smiling at her friends.
"I mean now please."
Emily sighed. "Alright." She pushed her way through the crowd and towards her father. "What's up?" she asked.
"I got a new job." Samuel replied to his daughter.
"Congrats, dad!" She smiled, feeling happy for her dad in finding a new job, after he was fired from his last.
"We are going to have to move. To England." He noticed the cheerful smile on Emily's face start to fade away. "I am so sorry Emily, I couldn't help it. I tried."
"England is a whole different country! another world!" She felt anger and sadness at the same time. She didn't want to leave the perfect Florida beaches and sun, not to forget her many friends she would leave behind.
"I'm sorry. I need you to head home with me and pack, alright? We leave in just a few weeks." Said Samuel.
"Okay..." He placed his hand on her shoulder, and Emily waved bye to her friends with a small fake smile. Samuel and Emily walked back to their beach house in pure silence..
