I look at my hand. My knuckles were bright red, and I started shaking it with pain. I swear I have just broken all the bones in my hand.

I look up to Ethan, he just stood there. Anger fuming of his body. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. What gave me the right to hit him? I am now officially dead.
"So..sorry." I stuttered, and I ran straight towards the doors of the school.

But a massive force grabbed me by the wrist. I spun around, trying not to make contact. But when he wouldn't say anything, I briefly made eye contact with him. His hazel eyes looked like they were scanning my face. He let go of my wrist and I scurried away from him.

"Do not hit me again!" He stated. I nodded and quickly made my way to the entrance of the school. I made my way to my first class, which was maths, and quietly made my entrance.

And if it was staged, the whole class turned their heads towards the open door and the teacher stopped writing on the board to face me.

I gulped. I have never had this much attention in my life. My whole face started to burn up, so I just looked down at my feet so my hair could conceal my embarrassed face.

"Please explain to us why you are incredibly late, Cierra," the teacher asked annoyed.
"I hope you have a great reason, as you have missed fifteen minutes of this lesson already."
"Eh....well..." I squeaked but someone from behind cut me off.
"She was helping me study in the Library, Sir. And we kind of lost track of time." A deep voice said from behind.

I looked back to see Ethan standing in the doorway, and I immediately looked at his cheek that I had punched. It was black and red, and I wondered how on this earth I had managed to leave a mark. I didn't know my own strength.

"Well I guess that's a legitimate excuse," he said annoyed.
"But you have already wasted enough of my time. Sit down!" He motioned to the two seats at the back of the room.

Ethan and I did what he said and walked to the two spare seats available. We both sat down and I rummaged through my bag to collect my pencil case and text book. I placed them on the desk and started writing down the notes on the board.

I looked over at Ethan and saw that he was doing the same. Why did I have to get so much attention today? Where's Emma when you need her? She didn't even tell me what time she was actually getting into school.

I looked at the front of the classroom and noticed that Brittany was giving me an evil death stare. Oh god. I quickly averted her gaze and continued scribbling down notes. But I couldn't concentrate. I was getting so much attention from people who didn't know I existed, and Brittany looked like she was planning my death.

I tried to ignore all the stares and continued on with the lesson.

The bell rang signaling the end of maths, and Ethan and I were asked to stay behind. This included more stares from people existing the classroom and one more death glare from Brittany.

The maths teacher walked up to our desk.
"Please do not be late to my next lesson. I know you were both helping each other out, but that's no excuse to be late. Your both now in Sixth Form and I trust that both of you can read a clock. It is unpunctual to turn up late to any of your classes, especially with A Levels around the corner," he lectured. "And I am only telling you this for your benefit." He said the last part mostly staring at Ethan, trying to get the message across. But Ethan just shrugged his shoulders.
"You're both dismissed." He finished, signalling towards the door.
"Yes Sir." I replied shyly, and I made my way out of the classroom with Ethan behind me.

I had study period now, so I started heading towards the Sixth Form Centre. Ethan continued to follow me. Once I reached the part of the school where the Sixth Form Centre was situated I turned around to face Ethan.

"Why are you following me?" I asked confidently. For some reason I could speak my mind when I was talking to Ethan.
"Who said I was following you? I am only making my way to the Study Lounge. I have study period." He smirked.

He was seriously getting on my nerves now, so I spun on my heel and entered the Sixth Form Centre. But with all my bad luck and attention today the gods decided that I should walk straight into Brittany today. And this action ended up with me spilling her coffee down all over her clothes.

"I am so incredibly sorry!" I panicked.
"I am such a clutz. I'll pay for a new drink!"
I looked up at her face, and you could literally see the steam pouring out of her ears. This is now the end of my life.
