Early Saturday morning, I roll around the bed expecting a body to be there, nothing.
I grab at the bed side table, searching for my phone, once I find it, I swipe the screen to open it.Five messages from Adrian, and One voicemail.
I flick through his messages and open his voicemail, "Lainee, I miss you. I made a mistake, A big one infact. The bed seems empty without you, My heart is slowly wilting. I need you beside me, through thick and thin. I love you." He says, his voice sounding vile and sweet at the same time.
Adrian Barnett. The fuckboy who thinks he can get me back.
My thumb hovers over the call button, I get enough courage and press it, the phone rings once and then twice, He picks up at the 5th ring.
"Lainee..." Adrian says his voice sounding grim and dark, "Look, if you're trying to get me back in bed with you, It's not going to work," I say sternly as I sit up in bed.
"And if the bed is feeling cold without me, why don't you invite your other girlfriends over? They surely don't have anything else to do apart from ruin relationships." I say gripping my phone harder.
"Please, just forgive me." He says through the phone, "Why should I? Why do you deserve a second chance? Answer me these questions and I might think about it." I say hanging up.
I already made my mind up anyway, I'm not giving him a second chance, I put my phone down on the other side of my bed and lay staring at the ceiling.
I hear a knock at the door, "Yes?" I ask sitting up in bed, "You want breakfast?" Callum asks leaning against the door frame, Why is he asking me about breakfast? It's 5:00.
"What time is it? I woke up earlier than I thought," I ask him, "It's Seven," He replies. I must've been thinking for a long time, "So do you want breakfast?" He repeats himself from earlier, "Sure, and Thank you," I say giving him a grateful smile.
I get up off the bed and walk to my closet, I unpacked a few days ago. I pick high - waisted shorts, a black tee, a pair of vans and a hoodie, I do my hair in a messy bun and walk out of the room.
I do my usual routine in the bathroom and head out to go to the kitchen. "Breakfast is served," Callum says as he places the two plates of food on the table, "Thank you," I say smiling at him.

I didn't have anything planned for today, so I sat in bed watching Netflix, "Hey, Want to go somewhere?" Callum asks at the door.
"Yeah sure, where?" I ask thinking about places we could go, "How about the Central Park?" He asks, "Sure," I say hopping up and putting my shoes on.
"My car," Callum says grabbing his keys and walking out the door, I follow him into his car and take the passenger seat.
••• {Sorry, I'm too lazy to write about the car ride} •••
Once we arrived I hopped out and breathed in the chilly air, it was autumn but It wasn't cold enough for you to wear a jumper yet.
Callum held his hand out for me to hold while we walked, I kindly took it and strolled around the park soon finding a bench to sit on.
I let go of Callum's hand and walked over to the bench, Callum following after me, I take in the sight of lovely trees and birds.
"Wanna talk about anything?" Callum asks sitting down next to me, I wasn't sure if I should tell him about this morning or not, but I took the chance anyway.
"Well, I got a voicemail from Adrian and decided to call him this morning," I admitted, "What was the voicemail?" He asks.
I pulled out my phone and searched for Adrian's voicemail and pressed play holding it between Callum and I.
"Lainee, I miss you. I made a mistake, A big one infact. The bed seems empty without you, My heart is slowly wilting. I need you beside me, through thick and thin. I love you." The voicemail ended.
"His heart is slowly wilting? Cheesy much. Sounds like something you would get off the internet." Callum says unannounced.
"I know," I say as I switch off the app and see a glimpse of a message, What the hell? Who is this? The message was just sent to me now...
Four words is all that was written in the message.
I will find you.
Sorry, I didn't update sooner, I had writers block and honestly had no Idea what to write. But anyway, HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS CHAPTER!
Lots of love from Shane ❤
