I've been acting strangely around people when we go out lately. I'm pretty sure it's only because I'm scared of that person, he could be anyone I know for godsake.
A few people have rung me up concerned for me, I just decided I wouldn't tell them. I couldn't anyway.
We went out yesterday, Callum and I went and watched a movie, throughout it I would be anxious about the people around me, I'd forget about it every now and then though, but not for long.
Also yesterday, Adrian tried to contact me again, it only ended up with screams and phones thrown across the room. I would've taken it easier if I wasn't so stressed about the mystery person.
Callum told me that if I need to let anything out he could listen to me, I just nodded and continued doing my things.
I want to tell him, I want to tell everyone, but I can't. This dude is being ridiculous. It wouldn't hurt me to tell Callum would it? What is he going to do about it anyway?
I've been having dreams about this guy for a few days now, it started one night and I was in a puddle of sweat, it stopped for a few nights and then continued again.
I don't know if he's messing with my head but I know for sure I've had enough of it.
I had two options: meet the guy and hope he doesn't kill me. Or tell Callum and hope he can help me.
I had to pick carefully, I didn't know what the guy would do either way.
"Lainee? Are you in there?" Callum said after he knocked on my door. "Uh yes!" I reply sitting straight up on my bed.
Callum opens the door slowly and peeks in, "You've been in here for the last 5 hours, what is going on?" He asks concern in his eyes. "I was just on my laptop, I've been watching some movies," I reply thinking of an excuse.
"Why isn't your laptop out then?" He says looking at the bed space infront of me. "I put it away half an hour ago, I wanted to take a nap," I say as I smile; that was close.
"Hmm, Okay then," Callum says before he closes the door and leaves me alone with my thoughts.
I've made up my mind, I'll meet up with this mystery guy. If I tell Callum about him, he'll stress aswell; it won't end up well.
I open my phone and leave the guy a message.
Can we meet?
•••
I established that the mystery person was a guy, it seems impossible that it could be a girl. I'm not trying to be sexist but this seems like something only a guy will do.
After a few minutes the person replies.
Sure babygirl
Don't ever call me that.
I'm sorry cupcake
If you don't stop calling me nicknames, I'll take back my offer.
I'm sorry. Where do you want to meet babe?
Ugh, I give up on trying to stop him.
Anywhere.
Yours?
No, anywhere but here.
The central park, at the gates
Sure, when?
Tomorrow afternoon, at 3.
Okay.
See you there babe
