When you're feelin' down,
Down so low that you gotta frown,
Just remember some happy sounds;
A dog, being out of the pound
A bird, chirping and fluttering by
A hamster, speeding like it's gonna fly,
A cat, purring in the summer light,
A baby, giggling oh-so bright,
A poem, written with extreme vigor,
A book, bound by thick ichor,
A picture of a happy day,
The best day in the perfect way,
A friend, bound as if by blood,
Family, thicker than a terrible flood,
These words are kind, and so are you,
I wish I could stay, but I must say "adieu".
