Day-1 at work

"Do you want me to pick you up?" Zayn asks, staring at the huge building infront of him.

"Nah i will be fine" liam unsurely answers, as the matter of fact liam was hella nervous, he definitely dont want to face his father after the harsh words exchanged.

"You sound off babe" zayn concernly wraps his hand behind liam's back, which now has become their common thing to do.

"Just nervous... i guess! Anyway have fun at your place" liam says and smiles at him.

"Why don't you tag along with me huh? I'll show you my place around.. and umm we can even grab lunch together?"

As much as liam liked the idea of sticking with zayn, he dont want to be a burden on him on his very first day, so he changes the topic in a swift "A very bad way to ask for a date zayn"

"Pffttt date you? I don't date hypocrites for your information"

"Fuck off" liam curses and pushes zayn away from him.

"Hey its just a joke. Come on a date with me liam" zayn giggles, successfully hiding the seriousness in his words.

"Too bad Malik I dont date perverts for your information" liam mocks and slips out his tongue childishly.

"Well fuck you too then" zayn angrily opens his car door

"Have a nice day at work, honey" liam chuckles

"Same to you sugarplum! May cactus grow on your chair!"

"Hahahaha same to you sweetheart!" Liam trails off with a laugh and when about to take a step towards the building, zayn calls him.

"Hey liam?"

Liam turns around only to get spoon by zayn, his back hitting the car door.

He gulped painfully, examining the lust flowing in zayn's eyes.

"Miss me.. yeah?" Zayn says with a grin

"Missing you already" liam flirts back making zayn's grin even wider

A harsh cough from behind catches the boys offgaurd.

"Umm... hi" niall awkrdly waves at them.

"Hi niall" liam fake smiles and turns to zayn who was still not that far him.

"Who is he liam? I mean weren't you marr-"

"Hi i am zayn!" Zayn quickly rushes to niall and offers a handshake.

"Niall... Niall horan!" Niall says; still awkwardly looking at his best mate, wondering why he was this close to this stranger.

"Zayn, Niall here, works with me.. we are bestfriends since high school" liam smiles, gesturing his hand at niall.

"And Niall this is zayn, Mr.Malik's son"

"Mr.Malik has a son?" Niall asks with wide eyes.

Just as the album completed, niall had an emergency at his hometown so he rushed back to ireland two weeks before his wedding. Unaware of what happened, it was pretty obvious why niall was acting oblivious.

"Yeah and that happens to be me" zayn chuckles

"And may i ask why were you forcing my bestfriend?" Niall asks folding his hands, defensively.

"Niall" liam yells

"Thats okay li, and dont worry mate, as you can see i was not 'forcing' your bestfriend-"

"What are you doing here, liam? Where is Louis?" Niall raises his voice a bit, searching for louis, and getting pretty riled up to see a stranger forcing liam against a car.
