EPILOGUE: MENG'S WEDDING

Meghana looked at Peng's sparkling eyes and said,"I do." The priest said,"You may kiss the bride."  Peng lips softly brushed against Meghana's. They ran down down the aisle full of glee. They spent so much time planning this day but it was over in seconds.
3 years later

Meghana hurriedly ran towards the bathroom and began to throw up everything that she had eaten for that day again. It's been a week now since her body started acting weirdly. She felt so tired and sleepy . In the morning  when she was preparing her breakfast, the smell of sautéed onion will make her feel nauseated and soon she will vomit and it's uncomfortable since she haven't eaten anything. She washed her face and looked at her reflection in the mirror. Meghana looks so pale. What is happening to her body? Is she having some kind of untreatable disease? This is really not good. Maybe she should just follow Ian's advice and consult a doctor. But what if she's really carrying a disease?

            Meghana turned to her side as she grabbed her pink bunny plushie and hugged it tightly. Meghana suddenly felt lonely and alone. Ian came in and made Meghana go to the hospital with him
When they arrived at the hospital, Ian introduced Meghana to one of his friends there who is a medical specialist and asked him to do some checkups for Meghana. The doctor introduced himself as Dr. Darren Nguyen and Meghana wondered how in the earth did he became a specialist especially since he is younger than her and Ian. What if this doctor will diagnose her wrongly? She will definitely sue him.

"Don't worry. Darren is one of the best here."Heechul said after sensing Meghana's doubt. ", stop complimenting me."Darren  said shyly. Really? Should Meghana not doubt him? Darren  looked at Meghana and smiled at her warmly. This guy is so cute! "I'm Dr. Nguyen and you may call me Darren like what Ian is doing. I'll be your doctor and we'll perform some series of tests to find out the real reasons as to why you keep on vomiting, especially in the morning. Shall we start?"
Meghana nodded his head. She really hates hospital. The smell, like seriously it's suffocating her.
           They even asked her for a urine test, which she uninterestedly did. She was sitting inside Darren's clinic when the doctor called her after the results were being released.


"What does it says?"Meghana asked nonchalantly. Darren looked at her, uncertain of what he is going to say and how he will start. When the results came, he asked the laboratory technicians to repeat them. For the third time that he asked them to check the samples properly.
"And...."Darren paused as he examined Meghana's face again.


"And what?" Meghana furrowed his brows in confusion. This doctor is starting to give her the creeps. "Am I having some incurable disease? Am I going to die? What is happening to me?"


"No. You don't have any disease. In fact, I asked the people in the laboratory to repeat running those samples for three times and I still got the same result."Darren replied.

"Then what? What do I have?" Meghana was starting to get nervous. Why is this doctor not telling her? Why did she even request to repeat the testing of samples for three times? What does she really have?

"Meghana, you are pregnant."

"Hahahaha. You are one hell of a great troll, Dr. Nguyen . This is really what being with Ian does to you." Meghana said while laughing.


"You really are pregnant, Meghana." Darren repeated and Meghana felt too nervous.


"I... I am p-pregnant?" Meghana asked in disbelief.

"We did a pregnancy test because you were experiencing the things that a pregnant woman experiences during her first month of pregnancy. The due date is November 5, 2029."Darren explained.
1 year  later
