Backstory: Halloween was born the night before all hallows eve on a small far in the far fields of Shadow's realm. His father left when he was just 3, and his mother blamed him for it. She would beat him if he ever stepped out of line. At the age of 15, Halloween drugged his mother when she was sleeping and brought her to the stables. He tied her to his horse with a strong rope and had a rodeo. He later dumped her body in the well and left the farm. He was a nomad until he reached the age of 22. He had found a lovely young woman in a trade market by the name of Felicity. They spent 3 years together. She was torn apart by a pack of wild dogs on their way to the place they wished to marry. Just before she took her final breath, They completed their wedding vows and w ere technically wed, but just so that Felicity could live to see the sun once more, Halloween took his soul, and split it in half. She lived for about another 5 years. They had 3 sons in this time  and were a happy family. Halloween had grown weaker and weaker by the day, and had become very ill. A local witch said that the half of his soul that was attached to Felicity had been sucking out the rest of his soul, and this would continue until Halloween's death. She couldn't live with herself if Halloween had died because of her, so she took her own life, so that her lover could live on. Halloween now roams the dark forests of the Shadow Heart Realm with only half a soul.
