Chapter 8

~Midori~

"Do you get it now?" I asked my brother.

"I think so," Shigure answered a bit unsurely.

I smiled and ran away. I had taught him how to play hide and seek. Even though he was very serious and a bit on the shy side, he agreed to play.

"One...two..." Shigure closed his eyes and counted.

I giggled and ran down the halls. The halls echoed my laughter as it traveled into the throne room. Leo was in the throne room pondering.

"What would you like to do?" A servant asked.

"I'll think of a way to make amends with them but for now, let's just leave it for now," Leo responded.

"Alright."

The servant nodded and bowed.

"Dismissed."

The servant removed himself from the throne room. Leo took a deep breath and fixed his posture in the chair. He closed his eyes and began to get lost in his thoughts.

I ran into the throne room giggling.

"Midori?" Leo opened his eyes. "What are you doing here?"

"Hiding!"

Leo smiled slightly.

"From who?"

"Shigure! We're playing hide and seek."

"Midori?" Shigure's voice could be heard from the halls.

I giggled and hid behind the throne. Shigure entered the room and smiled at Leo.

"Is she in here?"

"I'm...not allowed to say," Leo responded.

My soft voice could be heard. Shigure went behind the throne and found the light blue-haired girl.

"There you are," Shigure smiled.

I gave a cheeky smile, "You did!"

Shigure chuckled.

I smiled and took Leo's hand.

"Play with us, daddy!"

"Daddy?"

Leo blushed a bit. I nodded. "

Yes!"

I hugged him tightly, and he hugged me back.
