My Personal Thoughts and Ramblings

To Be Alive

She can't see,
Can't hear,
Nor can she speak.
But she can feel.

She has emotions,
She knows what you think of her.
She's just like anyone else.
So why can't you just treat her like a human?

She can see the negativity in the world.
She can hear the insults being spat at her.
She might not be able to utter a word, but that does not mean she doesn't have thoughts and opinions.
She knows pain more than anyone.

Look at her.
Listen.
Speak up for her when she can't.

She deserves more than this.
What she can or cannot do does not define who she is.
Just because she's like this,
Does not mean she's not a human.

She is alive.
And to be alive,
Is to be respected,
Loved,
And cared for.

If you can't give her these things,
Do you really consider yourself human?
Are you sure you're actually alive?
