Chapter 5: Alone time with Danny

After staying at Aron's for the night, Jorel left and decided that he should get home or he'd be in bigger trouble than he already was.
"Jorel is that you?" A voice asked as he shut the door as silently as he could.
"Yes mom," Jorel replied and trudged up the stairs and then pulled down the ladder that led to the artic because that was his room.
It wasn't that his family couldn't afford a house with two rooms, because they sure could. It was that they didn't care about him all that much so they gave him the attic so they could save money for their own personal things.
"Jorel come here," his mom said and he sighed and walked into his parents room where he found his mom laying in bed on her phone like usual.
"Where did you go last night?" She asked looking up from the screen.
"I went to Aron's," he said bluntly.
"Well you should of told us Jorel."
"I couldn't exactly do that could I?"
"Why not?"
"Oh I dunno maybe because dad was busy fighting with you and then he decided to cut me with the knife because I was in the way even though I was in the other room."
His mom's eyes hardened.
"Jorel what have I said about speaking to me like that?"
Jorel averted eye contact and apologized before leaving and climbing the ladder to his 'room' and collapsed on his bed.

"Hey Jordon, we've got a problem," George said when Jordon finally decided to pick up the phone.
"What is it?"
"My mom's grounded me for like two months so I won't be able to see you after school for now," George explained as he closed his bedroom door and sat at his desk.
"Well I'm grounded for three months so that's an issue too."
"She's told me that I'm to come straight home and I'm not allowed out at all except for school," George continued.
"Same here and this basically means no sex for three months doesn't it because even after you're not grounded she's banned anybody from seeing me."
"Is your brain like hardwired to only think of sexual things?" George said and laughed.
"You wouldn't even have a sex life without me lets face it George."
So after a lot more joking around, George had to hang up as his mom had instructed him to give it to her.
"It's gonna be a long three months," George said to himself as he sat on his bed and proceeded to fall asleep against the wall.

It was about 8pm when Jorel's phone started to ring. He picked it up and saw it was Danny.
The two had exchanged numbers since they were now classed as friends.
"Hey Danny what's up?" Jorel greeted.
"Hi I have a question that I need to ask you," Danny said.
"Ok shoot."
"Well I told my mom I needed to get something from my uncle's for you so she wouldn't be suspicious about me carrying a random box out from his basement for no reason and then she picked up that I had made a friend, so she told me to ask you if you wanted to come with us to my uncle's place for the week, you don't have to I just thought I'd ask," Danny explained and Jorel had to quickly think of the pros and cons.
The cons were that he'd be mercilessly taunted by the guys because he was going to be spending a week alone with Danny and his mom would probably never allow it so he'd be in huge trouble if he left without permission.
The pros however were that he'd get to be with Danny for seven whole days and he'd get to be away from the hell he called home.
"Yeah I'll come along if you don't mind," Jorel said and couldn't help but smile at thought of seeing Danny outside of school.
"Alright well I'll tell my mom and we're leaving on the Monday of the second week off if that's ok?"
"That's fine, so I guess I'll see you soon then."
"I guess so, well goodbye then."
Jorel said goodbye and hung up.

That Monday rolled around quicker than expected, the first week of winter break had been spent staying at Aron's and just hanging out with his friends.
Jorel trudged down the familiar street where Aron lived, it felt strange to walk down that street only to walk straight past Aron's. He had always classed Aron's house as his second home.
When Jorel had reached the door he knocked on it instead of banging on it like he usually did.
The door opened to reveal an older woman, who smiled at him.
"You must be Jorel right?" She asked and Jorel nodded.
"Yep that's me."
"Danny your friend is here!" She called and then there was footsteps and then Danny appeared at the door.
He was wearing maroon jeans and a black sleeveless jacket, the fact he wasn't wearing a shirt underneath was making it very hard for Jorel not to look at the small piece of chest showing at the top.
"Hey Jorel we're ready to go so if you've got your stuff then let's go," Danny said and flashed that beautiful smile Jorel loved seeing.

The family and Jorel then travelled to a house in the middle of nowhere and once they'd arrived, Jorel and Danny were sent to put their bags aways.
The two were to share a room which didn't seem to bother Danny at all.

Evening soon came and Danny had gone to help out his mom so Jorel was left to his own thoughts when his phone went off.
It was a text from Aron which read "Are you any closer to fucking him?"
And Jorel couldn't help but grin at this. He then typed a reply.
"Well I'm sharing a room with him for seven days in a house with drugs in the basement so maybe I'll get lucky"
After a few minutes received a reply.
"Arina says that she's betting $10 that you too at least kiss by the end of the week"
Jorel smiled before sending a reply and the two talked until it was 11pm and Danny returned and Jorel sent his final text of the night.
"Well Danny's here so I should probably go, night Aron"
Aron replied immediately.
"Good luck J, goodnight"
He switched off his phone and when Danny asked what they were talking about he just smiled.
"Nothing important just something stupid," he said putting or phone on the desk beside the bed and then Jorel looked back up and saw something made him feel like his heart was going to burst.
Danny had pulled off his shirt.
"You guys really are best friend huh?"   Danny said with a smile and Jorel couldn't help but stare at Danny's clearly in shape torso.
"Yeah, we are," Jorel replied dragging his eyes away.
When he looked back Danny had changed into his sleepwear and thankfully Jorel had already changed so he didn't need to go through the awkwardness of that.

It was going to be a long week alright.

I also have a request to ask of you all, could maybe someone at the end of this fanfic like give me some kind of review of it cuz I think it will help me see what I can do better, whether it's as simple as grammar or using the same words too much, please tell me if you don't mind me asking you too.
