Chapter 8: Where are you?

Winter break was now over and Danny was back to walking down the snow covered streets. The snow was slowly fading away but there was enough there for the kids running down the street to throw snowballs at each other.
Danny couldn't get that near kiss out of his head and then he remembered Aron's questions which meant Jorel had told him but what did he expect, those two were best friends.

When he arrived at the school Danny went round the back to have a cigarette, he didn't usually smoke in school but today he just wasn't feeling the same.
He rounded the corner and made sure to hide behind the skip and then he lit it. However he immediately had to put it out because he heard voices and he wasn't going to risk getting caught.
Danny then realized he recognized those voices. Dylan and Matt.
They had gone silent for some reason so Danny walked round the large skip and saw something he probably wasn't supposed to.
Dylan and Matt were making out like there was no tomorrow.
They noticed him and pulled away extremely fast and they looked at each other.
"I'm sorry guys, I'll just be leaving then," Danny said and turned.
"Wait a minute Danny," Dylan said and Danny turned back around.
"You can't tell them ok?" Matt said, a bit of worry in his eyes.
"Why won't you tell them? I mean they clearly don't care if you're gay."
"It's just nice not having to tell anybody because it's our own private life in a way, the only people that know are our moms and now you," Matt explained and Danny understood.
"Alright, I won't tell anybody I swear," Danny said and the two seemed to relax.
"What're you doing round here anyway, class started like ten minutes ago?" Dylan asked.
"I'm just not feeling good today and I can't be bothered at the moment, have you seen Jorel?"
"Well he was waiting for Aron at the gates before and he might still be there if you're lucky otherwise I've got no idea," Dylan said and Danny nodded.
"Ok thanks Dylan." Then Danny ran back round to the front of the school to find Jorel sat by the gates.
"Hey Jorel, can I talk to you?" Danny asked, slowing down to a walk as he approached him.
"Uh yeah sure," Jorel said standing up.
"I understand that things were a bit awkward a couple weeks ago, and I just thought that I should tell you that I wanted to kiss you Jorel because I like you ok?" Danny said and looked down.
"You have no idea how fucking happy I am to here you say that," Jorel said and Danny looked up and smiled.
"So do you wanna finish that kiss?" Jorel asked smirking a bit.
"I thought you'd never ask."
They leaned into each other and their lips finally connected. A long awaited kiss had finally happened.
It was a very passionate kiss but it didn't last long because they were interrupted by the sound of somebody clearing their throat.
They turned to see Arina who looked very stunned.
"I'm sorry for interrupting boys but have you seen Aron?" She asked worry clear in her voice.
"Not since yesterday when he took off early again, why?" Jorel asked sounding concerned.
"He said he was going out last night and that he would be back soon but he's not back and we're really worried about him," Arina explained.
"Have you tried calling him?"
"Of course we did idiot... sorry."
"It's fine."
Danny listened as the two started thinking of places he would be.
"I'll text the others now and see if they have any idea," Jorel said and pulled out his phone.
A few minutes later he had sent them all a text and they all replied saying they hadn't seen him but would look after school.
"Damn it Aron where are you?" Jorel said to himself.

The hunt was on.

Hello! Boom! I hope this chapter was awesome! Sorry it's sorta short but I guess it's ok to have a short chapter every so often right? Right!
