Simon 'saves' you

You looked out from the little antique store you had been in for the past hour, contemplating whether or not you should leave.
The store didn't close for another hour but your dog was at home and he probably desperately needed to use the bathroom.
Unless of course he already had used it on your carpet.
Or maybe he tore your home apart!
Maybe when you got home pillows would be torn to shreds, a bag of treats on the ground empty.
All the possibilities of what might have happened were swimming around in your head.
Just thinking about the mess made you cringe.
You needed to get home as soon as possible. In reality it wasn't really a big deal at all, your mind always harbored the worst case scenarios.
The clouds were gray and the once hot summer season seemed to fade away.
A light breeze blew through the city, a soft mist of rain making its way onto your face.
"Shit." You said squinting up at the now darker gray sky.
This 'storm' was getting worse and worse by the minute.
You darted down the sidewalk trying to avoid the drops of rain that were coming down.
The drizzle then turned into a full on hail of harsher drops that seemed to pelt only you. It was as if the man upstairs was commanding a little army of water droplets and they were all seemingly aimed at you.
A few minutes later you were soaked and not even half way to your home.
"Maybe I should've stayed in that shop!"
You wailed above the rain.
"Maybe you should've brought an umbrella!"
A voice answered back.
You turned around shocked to see the same boy from the cafe.
Flashes of the date you two went on sprang forth in front of you as if it was happening again.
"Simon?"
His eyes widened, he clearly didn't recognize that it was you.
You shrugged it off though because you could barely see him through the rain anyways.
He walked over to where you were standing, holding an umbrella out above you both.
"Oh (Y/N) it's you."
And there it was, that same toothy grin.
"I couldn't tell from way over there hehe."
He rubbed the back of his neck, staring straight into your eyes.
"Oh I'm sure." You giggled.
"Your eyes look so beautiful in this light."
The words rolled off of his tongue like silk.
Smooth.
"Thanks aha, it's the running mascara that draws your attention eh?"
You laughed loudly, although in this weather it sounded a bit quiet.
"Of course not. Look why don't we get you inside."
He gestured to a large house just a few yards away.
"That's my place."
You raised your brows.
"Pretty big for just yourself."
He shook his head.
"No no, I live with a few others."
You walked together quickly down the sidewalk making your way to his house.
"(Y/N)."
He said, turning to you.
You were now standing in front of his house, a few feet from the door.
"Yeah?"
He set his umbrella to the side, the cold hard rain once again pelting down onto you both.
He leaned down, his eyes closing.
This was it.
You were kissing.
When his lips collided with yours a streak of fireworks exploded everywhere inside your mind. Was this what it felt like to be in love?
Lips locked you stood in the rain running your hands through his wet hair.
He grabbed your waist pulling you closer, this little kiss was turning into a little make out session.
You didn't mind it though cause hey, he's a great kisser.
You pulled back and stared up into his eyes the best you could without rain finding its way into your eyes.
"We're gonna freeze to death out here."
You spoke softly, shivering.
"We better go inside and get those wet clothes off then yeah?"
