Ch. 18 - The Big Date

-ERIN'S POV-  

I opened the door to the passenger side of Justin's car and put on my seat belt. I focused on the road ahead of us and didn't say a word. today is July 22nd. the day of my first doctors appointment and I am really excited but also super nervous at the same time. I gripped on to Justin's hand which rested on his right knee. he was bouncing it up and down, probably due to his nervousness. 

"are you excited?" he seemed to be startled by my words because he jumped slightly.

"you have no idea. It feels like I've been waiting for this for like ever" 

"me too" I sighed "so when are we going to tell your parents and stuff?"

"we can tell them whenever but id like to plan out a nice dinner and stuff. but the latest we can tell them is once you start to show" he looked at me very worried. "I'm nervous"

"me too but remember Justin we can do this together" I smiled at him and it seemed to calm his nerves a little. "don't be worried it'll be alright" he smiled and we both began to sing be alright together. Soon we arrived at the doctor. we both sat in silence staring at the building. "we should just be brave Justin. why are we so nervous?"

"its just life changing, I think we are both still taking in the fact that we are having a baby together." 

"oh no doubt about it. lets go in" I stepped out of the car and took a deep breath preparing myself for what was to come. Justin pushed open the doors and The smell of the doctor overwhelmed me. "I'm here for an appointment for Erin Anderson" my voice was shaky, obvious that I was extremely nervous.

"it ll be about a five minute wait and Dr. Ross will be right with you" she smiled at us. "oh and hun dont be worried it'll be okay" I clutched on to Justin's hand as we walked over to the waiting area and sat down. I couldn't help tapping my foot, I am to scared. I glanced around the room at the paintings on the wall and the flowers on the tables. 

"how far along are you?" A woman asked who was sitting a couple seats away. 

"I'm only a couple weeks. I think around six or seven" she smiled at me lightening my mood. 

"oh so this is your first visit?" 

"yep" I sucked in air through my teeth. 

"don't be nervous, it not that bad" she smiled again and returned to reading her magazine. Justin's grip on me got even tighter than before. 

"are you nervous?" he looked over and breathed in.

"a little" from just that I could tell he is even more nervous than me. 

"Erin Anderson?" Me and Justin stood up and walked over to a nurse. "head into room 127 down the hall and Dr. Ross will be right with you" she smiled and walked away. We waited for about 5 minutes and The doctor walked in. he did and ultrasound on me and everything looked normal. so with that we left. The lady in the Waiting room was right, it wasn't that bad but its crazy and its still hitting me that I'm pregnant and we are having a baby in 7 1/2 months. Tomorrow is our big date. we have been waiting weeks to go on it but our schedules got so busy we just didn't have the time. its difficult now that Justin goes to the studio a lot because he is always gone. even though he has the choice whether he wants to go or not, he still has to go because he needs to write music and get more music out there. Its insane how much he writes. whenever hes not doing anything, hes got a pencil and his note pad out writing lyrics and notes. that also means hes always playing his guitar or the piano. Justin wrapped his arms around my waist from the back.

"babe?"  his hot breath ran down my neck and gave me the goosebumps 

"yeah?" I breathed in as he pressed his body against mine
