Since we already did all the interesting games we thought it was time to head over to the ride portion of the carnival. Every time we passed a game stand on our way to the rides a few carnival employees
watched us as we walked by. They looked at us like we committed a crime.
"Is it just me or are they watching us?" I asked anxiously.
"I don't know I haven't really been paying attention." Grace told me.
Before we could ride any of the rides we had to buy some tickets first. Six dollars for twenty tickets. We summed up the amount of rides and their ticket prices. At "The Dropper" it was five tickets, the only roller coaster costed ten tickets, and the Ferris Wheel costed five tickets.
"The Dropper" was a ride that takes up up to the top, drops you little by little, then goes back up again, and repeats itself. To me it makes my stomach feel empty. It makes me feel weightless.
Now that is was dark outside, it was the best time to ride the roller coaster. It was called "The Corkscrew." The Corkscrew was a series of barrel rolls and loops with intense speed. I think it's one of the most fun roller coasters I've ever experienced at a fair or carnival.
Last of all we rode the Ferris Wheel. It's pretty self explanatory if you've ever been on one. Or if you have just seen one. The colors were amazing. Colors of bright blue, white, pink, purple, and red. Truly the best colors of the rainbow, in my opinion. Looking from the peak we saw a bunch of little lights off in the distance. The tranquility up there was unexplainable. The view from up there was the. It's like you could touch anything as far as the eye could see. Like you could reach out and grab anything you want.
After going around five times total we had to get off. Since it would cost another five tickets.
"That was amazing!" I exclaimed. "How about we make our way to the funhouse now."
"Yeah, creepy clowns and wonky mirrors have always been my favorite." Grace said in a sarcastic voice.
"Let's go!"
