                               August 14th, 2016.

I deleted his number. Never spoke to him since then. Last year, I moved in with my best friend, Mariah. She keeps telling me to forget about him, but to be honest, my mind just can't do that.

"Are you coming or what?" Mariah yelled from downstairs. I flinched and picked up my wristlet. "Um, y-yeah! Give me a minute." I yelled back.

I put on mascara real quick and ran downstairs. "Sorry," I mumbled. She laughed. "Don't sweat it." She smiled. We got into her mini cooper, as she started the car. "So, starbucks?" She asked with a grin. I laughed. "Sure."

We walked inside of Starbucks. We both ordered, and then waited for our drinks. "I hate waiting." I groaned. She laughed. "I think everyone hates waiting."

After 5 minutes, the barista called us. Mariah got her drink first then got straws for us. I got my drink and then turned around. I totally regret turning around, because the one person I couldn't get off my mind was standing right in front of me.

"I am so sorry," he said. He looked at me, and his face lit up. "Indigo?" He said in more of a question tone. I smiled a little bit. "Hey."

"I-it's been forever since- I haven't seen you in forever." He said. "Wanna sit?" He asked. I looked over to Mariah. She smiled at me. She pointed over to the car, signaling that she'd be waiting for me. I nodded.

I looked back at Kian. We both sat down and it became awkward. "How've you been," he asked. He seems more happier and nicer than before. "I-I'm good. How've you been?" I asked sipping my frap. All he did was nod.

"Ever since that party, Indigo, my mind has been playing that moment over and over. I can't tell you how much I am sorry. I've missed you in the worst way possible and I just can't live like that anymore," he said. "You denied all of my calls, and never answered my texts. I felt like you hated me." He said with a depressed tone.  I let out a tiny sigh.

"Mariah kept-" He cut me off. "Who's Mariah?" He asked. "That girl I was with." He nodded. "Anyway, Mariah kept on telling me to forget about you. I just couldn't."

"Look Indigo please. I'd do anything to make it up to you. Just, forgive me. Please." He pleaded. I sighed. "I don't know, Kian. I can't trust you anymore."

"Indigo, I've changed! That was me 2 years ago. Just at least forgive me." He whispered the last part. I fumbled with my hands. "I-I don't know." I stuttered and grabbed my drink, then ran out of Starbucks, leaving Kian behind.

I ran into the car, and saw Mariah laughing. "What got you all hyped up?" She asked putting her phone away and starting the car. "He wants me to forgive him." I breathed while putting on my seatbelt. "So you're saying that you just left him there?" She laughed while driving. "Well yeah I guess you could say that." I said sipping my drink.
