*chapter is really short i'm sorry.*It was Kian's birthday a few days ago. I was such an asshole. I didn't even tell him happy birthday. For the past days, the guilt has been killing me. I stood in front of his apartment, and took a deep breath before lightly knocking on the door. Nobody answered, but I heard screams coming from inside. The only way to get their attention was to knock really loud, but that also would lead to a complaint from their neighbors. I mean, they are loud anyways, so I think their neighbors are used to it. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and called Jc. And then, their room was all quiet.
"Hey, what's up!" Jc said. "Uhh, hey. Could you do me a favor and open your door?" I asked. I then heard footsteps coming closer, and his voice getting louder. "Yeah, sure." He said before opening the door and ending the call.
"Hi." I said and waved. I saw Kian's head turn the opposite direction, as if he wasn't looking at me a second ago. "Hey, come in!" Jc smiled and let me in. He closed the door, and looked at me. "So what's up?" He asked. "Jc, I love you to death as a friend and I'm not being mean, but can you give Kian and I a little privacy for a second? I need to talk to him." I said. Jc smiled before saying, "Yeah, yeah of course." Then, he left.
I awkwardly walked to Kian, who was sitting on the couch with the controller in his hand. He turned to me and faked a smile. I know his smiles.
"Hey," He said. "Hi," I replied. "So um, I just remembered that it was your birthday a couple days ago, and I totally forgot. I uh, brought you something." I said, and handed him a box that had a bracelet in it. It was a blue bracelet that secretly had the words, 'happy birthday,' engraved in the back of the stone. He opened the box as a real smile washed over his face. He immeadiatly put on the bracelet and leaned in for a friendly hug. "I love it, thank you." He slowly said. "You're welcome." I smiled and hugged him back. Fuck, I really missed his hugs. It's so comfortable to be in his arms."So do you wanna play mario kart with us?" He asked. I had nothing else to do that day, so I simply said sure. I got up and opened the door that Jc walked into. Once I opened the door, Jc stumbled out of the door and fell. "Were you listening to our conversation?" I asked with a little laugh. Jc's cheeks turned red as he nodded. I laughed and helped him up. We all sat down on their couch and began playing mario kart for the rest of the day.
Kian
September 5th, 2016.Shit, I wanted to smoke so badly. I knew I couldn't because Indigo was here, and I didn't want her to think I'm still the same alcoholic/ badass Kian. I mean I am still badass, but I try not to drink anymore. "I'm gonna go pick up the pizza." Jc said. I tugged on his arm lightly and said, "Can I pick up the pizza?" He looked at me weird. "Go ahead?" He said in a questioning tone. I quickly grabbed the keys from his hands and walked out the door. I took the elevator to main lobby. I left, and stood outside the apartment. I slid my back against the wall, and started smoking. A small tear escaped my eyes, as I quickly wiped them away. I still love her. I'm trying so hard to stop smoking, and to stop drinking for her. The fact that I'm practically lying to her hurts me so much. I threw away my cigarette and walked to my car.
I headed back to the apartment after I picked up the pizza and took the elevator again. I stood outside of the door and took out my keys. I turned the knob and walked inside to find Jc's lips connected with Indigo's.
