The Walking Dead: Book 1: Hope

Hope

It has been three years since i seen humans all i have been seeing is walkers day by day i been evading herds of walkers because i am low on ammo so i have a knife and a sword so i had to sneak past them i have been traveling towards Dc for shelter but before we begin let me intruduce my self my name is jake harmon i am 19 years old i lost my group and family to the dead and i had to put them down my self i have black emo hair i am 5.7 and i am gay.

Let continue i finally arrive to a abandon church white walls it seems to have been used five walkers was inside i take my sword and and slice two in the head the the others i scaned each room both clear but one has a hole in the floor i take the walks i killed out and burned them and i scured the church the best way i could and made a pallet in one of the rooms and went to sleep.

The next morning. I looked around and i find a map with writing on it says (the new world is going to need Rick Grimes) the map made  a line to dc so i am guessing these people went there to survive i studied the map looks new so i guess they was here a few months ago. I guess i will try it i will go there i hope their still there. I gather everything and headed off on the road following the map. On the way u found a car I check the gas a half a tank should get me to dc I hotwire the car and I drive off.
After a few days I made it to DC with just a little gas left I drive through DC and arrive to a sign that says (Alexanderia 3 miles safe zone) I think to my self well worth a try. I drive towards Alexanderia. It was night time when I arrived I saw vehicles in front of the gates with spikes coming out of them with walkers dead on them. I didn't drive all the way up so that they didn't notice me yet I wanted to see them before they see me so I slept in the car until morning came.

MORNING.

I wake up and I head towards Alexandria's gates and I see a woman her belly was round so I guess she's having a baby she point'so  a gun to me and the gates open a man comes out and tells the woman by the name of Maggie to lower her gun she lowers and the man point's his gun at me and ask who I was.

My name is rick rick Grimes I think for a moment and I ask if I can get something out of my pocket he nods and I take out the map and showed him his name was on it so that's how you found this place with that map said rick I nodded. Well what do you want rick said  I am looking for a place to live I said. Rick just stares at me for a few minutes

Ok you can stay but if you try anything that will harm my family i will kill you my self said rick....
I just look at him for a second and nod
They give me my stuff back and a woman with a sword like me approached me and mihonne can you show our new recruit around and give him a home rick said she nods. Ok kid follow me she said i follow her she showed me around and gave me a empty house with everything i would need in it. I walk around the house and it seemed nice i unpack my stuff but i keep my sword on my back and my gun on my side just in case this place is not safe as it seems

(Night time)

I eat dinner and a hot shower it felt really good to have a hot shower i brush my teeth and i hear a knock on the door i rush down stairs and i open it a woman with gray hair was there she had cookies in her hand.

You must be our new recruit my name is carol nice to meet you she said hi my name is Jake... Jake Harmon. These are for you she hands me a container of cookies Thank you i said she smiles and says shes has to go she leaves and i got back up stairs and ate the cookies and went to bed.
