Chapter Six

Elena's P.O.V

Sitting in class both Rebekah and Franceska walk in. Rebekah stops beside my desk and bends down. "That's my necklace! Why do you have it?" she asks

"Stefan gave it to me last year." i say

"I want it back." she demands

"Have it." i say ripping it off my neck and handing it to her

"Thank you doppelganger." she says walking ahead to take a seat somewhere in the back of the room

'My name is Elena!' i wanted to scream at her but i know she would probably kill me if i did, she hates me and for what reason i don't know.

 the lesson goes by quickly as does the rest of the day. Damon picks me up from school and drops me off at home. I had practice at lunch and I'm back on the squad, both Rebekah and Franceska tried out, and i will admit they were good. we just might have to let them on the team. Caroline has given me my top position as head cheerleader, something i never thought she would do after i ditched them all two years in a row.

i get changed into some black skinny jeans and a blue half sleeve V-neck shirt. i slip on some black converse and put my hair up. i grab my Diary and head out to the cemetery, i haven't been there in a while. the walk there doesn't take to long, i sit down in between my parents and Jenna. i start to talk aimlessly to them, even though i know it may look like I'm talking to myself, i write in my diary about how things have been the past couple of days, about Damon and I. I wonder what my parents would say knowing i was dating a vampire, and its not the first time this had happened.  i feel something watching me, closing the book i get up and look around finding a rather large hawk. not thinking anythting of it i head away of the cemetery and towards the boarding house. the door is wide open and i walk in. what a sight to see, girls everywhere and Stefan sitting on the couch in the middle of them all.

"Damon!" i call out walking out of the room

"Elena." he says appearing in front of me with a smirk on his face

i jump slightly "What the hell Damon! Did you have to scare me like that?" i ask

"Sorry." he says actually sounding sympathetic

"It's okay," i start as i give him a hug "Wanna get out of here?"

"Yes, you have no idea how badly i want to just leave this place. Girls are everywhere and they don't shut up!" he says grabbing my hand and leading my out the door. we get into his car and he starts to drive.

"So, where are we going?" i ask

"That's a secret." he says speeding up. i watch out the window as the whole town goes by and we change states.

*****A DAY LATER*****

Elena's P.O.V

"Where are we?' i ask groggily as i had just woken up

"Almost to where we need to be." Damon says

"Which is where?" i ask desperately wanting to know

"FIne, ill tell you..." he says

"Okay." i say

"In 6 hours." he says

"6 hours?!" i exclaim

"Damon, can we at least go shopping, i need a new change of cloths." i say looking down at what i had worn the day before and all night

"Sure, in 6 hours." he says

"Damon, I'm starving." i say

"Fine, we'll stop for something to eat, and i guess we can go to a shop and get you some new cloths." he says
