"I don't know what I'm supposed to do, though, Hobi. I want to do something amazing, I need to prove to him that I really do like him... maybe even love him," I told Hoseok that Friday evening. I'd been contemplating what to do that entire week, how to admit my feelings to Namjoon, ever since my conversation with Taehyung. The only problem seemed to be, I couldn't for the life of me figure out a worthy idea.

"Want me to come over and help out? I can sleep over," Hoseok replied. That was his subtle way of telling me he was coming over whether I liked it or not; we rarely ever slept over at his place, considering his plethora of rather noisy siblings.

"Yeah, sure. Grab the usual snacks?" I asked.

"Yep," he said. "See you in a few!" Then the line on my phone when dead, and I was stuck once again with my murderous thoughts. The whole week had been torture. I was exhausted thinking about all of the wonderful things Namjoon had done for me over the last month, all of the time he put into impressing me, all the while making me fall in love with.

And yet he didn't even realize just how much I liked him.

He was selfish, but so was I. I wasn't going to let him walk away from me like that, not after everything he had done, not after the messages. Not after we kissed. Certainly not after he told me he loved me.

I was ridiculously grateful that my mother came to the door, knocking on it lightly and peeking her head in.

"Hey, dear. Taehyung's here in the living room, shall I send him up?" she asked quietly, a smirk on her face. I didn't even bother feeling embarrassed, I just nodded and jumped out of my bed, putting on a clean shirt before he walked in.

"Hey, Seokjin," Taehyung said, running his fingers through his hair, as per usual. "How are you doing?" He plopped down on my bed uninvited, putting his hands behind his head and looking rather relaxed considering both the circumstances and the environment, which just so happened to be my bedroom.

"Good," I said, grinning. "What're you doing here?"

"I'm gonna help you plan whatever it is you want to do with Namjoon. He's just been moping about for the last week, which is frustrating beyond belief because it's his fault he's sad in the first place! So I want to hep you help him grow some damn balls," he said seriously. I gave a short laugh before jumping onto my bed with him, resting my head on the wall behind me.

"Well, Hobi's going to be coming over pretty soon to help with the same thing, so I guess we'll have two times the brain power," I said, monitoring Taehyung's expression carefully, although he remained impassive.

"Alright," was all he said. "So do you have any plans yet?"

I shook my head. "Not at all. I'm actually completely and utterly lost. I don't know what to do, because I want it to be just as amazing as he is, but I also don't want him to know about it until tomorrow, so it can't be anything too impossible, you know? Not something that will make him suspicious, anyway."

"Right, the element of surprise, how cliche," Taehyung told me, giving me a sly wink. I shoved him, giggling, and we continued talking about Namjoon (well, I talked about Namjoon while Taehyung made fun of how girlish he was being) until Hoseok came. When he waltzed into my room, he froze on the spot, eyes flicking from me to Taehyung, and Taehyung sat up noticeably straighter, as though his bad posture would make Hoseok like him less. I tried to hide my oncoming smirk unsuccessfully.

"What are you smiling at?" Hoseok snapped, and my face fell with his bitter tone. I glared at my best friend before glancing at a miserable Taehyung.

"Let's go get drinks, Hobi," I said slowly, through clenched teeth. "Want anything? We've got juice, water, and I think we have some sodas," I told Taehyung.
