Last Chance?

Chapter 4

"I’m not doing that."

"You have to! You chose the dare and I gave it!" stated Harry. Liam got up and went out the door and took off his clothes except his boxers and did a handstand, walking along the street. All of us at the door were cracking up. Niall was on the floor laughing and rolling around. I was holding myself, Louis, and Harry up by the door, almost landing on Niall. Zayn was trying to stay quiet because he was recording. We were so loud that the neighbors came out to see what was going on which made us laugh even harder.

Liam then ran into the house and got his clothes on. Liam sat down and waited for us, even though we were all still lying on the floor, laughing our guts out. 

"Oi! Come on, let’s get on with the game!" Liam said on the floor. We all crawled to the circle and continued the game. So far, Harry ate pickle juice with whip cream, Niall told us when he was little he hated food until he was force fed, and Liam did that little stunt. 

"My turn!" Louis said, "Jamie, truth or dare?" 

"Truth." I’m not daring for now, maybe later. 

"BORING!" Louis yelled with his obnoxious voice, Liam slapped his hand on Louis’ face to shut him up and put his fingers to his mouth. Louis forcefully pulled Liam’s hand away and began to think. His face turned to an evil grin then began to talk. "Who was your first crush?

My eyes widened and began to think. OF COURSE, I didn’t need to think, it was Louis but should I say that? It’s only a game but I promised not to lie anymore. 

"My first crush was… you." I turned my head to his direction and I saw him smirk. I looked around and no one even cared except Niall. His face was full of jealousy and.. rage? Why rage? I just met him. I didn’t know him back then! 

"Well to get this awkward part over with… Jamie it’s your turn!" Zayn said looking back and forth between Louis, Niall, and me. 

"Honestly I don’t want to play anymore. I have work tomorrow, well today I guess and need to hit the hay." I said while looking at the clock. 1:17 am. Great. Work tomorrow at 7 and I don’t have a story! *LIGHT BULB* Wait a minute. 

"Well if you have work tomorrow we should go…" Liam started. Everyone started getting up. 

"Wait!" I screamed making them stop. "What if you came to work with me tomorrow? I need a story and since you are entertainment.."

"Of course we’ll go!" Louis said jumping up. Liam looked at Niall, they both nodded.

"We’ll call Paul to get the okay but of course we’ll do it Jamie! When and where?" Harry asked. 

"It’s down the road from here. Louis do you remember where the old abandoned warehouse is?" I turned to Lou. He thought for a moment.

"Of course I do! It’s where we would go for our secret adventures!" Louis said with a huge grin. I laughed and nodded my head. 

"That’s the one. Well, they changed it to the newspaper headquarters. Be there around 8? I’ll ask you some questions and then after we can do whatever. Sounds like a deal?" Looking around at every boy. They nodded their heads. 

"Goodnight Jamie. See you later." Harry said giving me a hug and headed towards the basement. I guess that’s where they are staying for now. 

Zayn and Liam gave me a hug as well and went downstairs. Niall came over and hugged me. 

"Goodnight new best friend." Niall whispered into my ear. 

"Night Nialler." I smiled at him and he walked off. I was alone with the one and only Louis. Being the sassy person he is, he opened his arms waiting for me to walk to him. Like always I obeyed him and walked towards him. 

"Goodnight Jwamie. I love you, always remember that. Okay?" Louis said looking into my eyes. I nodded my head. I rested my head on his chest for a moment then let go. I helped him to the stairs because of his leg. I closed the door behind him and went upstairs. I walked to my bed and collapsed, exhausted from all these emotions. I was drifting away, waiting for sleep to over take me. 

*Knock* *Knock* NOW WHAT?! I got up and went to my door to see who it was…
