A Hand To Hold

Chapter 1

Mom: "y/n wake up! You're going to be late for your first day of school!"

You: "Coming mom!"
You get out of bed and put on your favourite black Nike crop top, your faded, blue skinny jeans, and your white Vans. You run downstairs and grab a quick breakfast.

Mom: "Honey you're going to miss the bus!"

You: "Oh shoot! Thanks mom." You finish your toast and cereal.You give your mom a quick hug and kiss then race out the door to the bus stop. You get on the bus then sit as far away from everyone else as you possibly can, then pray that nobody's sits with you.
----------------At school------------------
You get your schedule for your eighth grade classes (you had just turned 13 that summer) and realize that you are lost. The fist bell rings, indicating that you have 5 minutes to get to class.

You: "Oh my god I'm gonna be late!"
You run as fast as you can trying to find your class, accidentally bumping into a guy! Both of your books and papers go flying across the hallway (good thing nobody was around to see that one!) You both land sprawled out on the floor, then you start to laugh! The boy joins in laughing with you.

You: "I'm so sorry! I didn't see you." You say giggling.

Boy: "It's fine." He says while laughing.
Boy: "I haven't seen you around here before? You must be new, what's your name?"

You: "My name is y/n."

Boy: "That's a beautiful name to suite a beautiful girl." You instantly feel yourself blush. (Is he flirting with me?) you ask yourself.

You: "What about you? What's your name?"

Boy: "My name is..."
