"Alright guys, one more round and we're good!", I yelled as I wipe my sweat.

"Finally. What number are we again?", a very impatient Joyce asked.

"Three more showcases and we're next. Now let's dance our butts off and do this."

Our group is going to compete with other Senior classes, supporting our female candidate for Burnham Academy Ambassador of the Year. The program is in it's full swing when our name is called to take the stage. Three minutes of fame and everything's back to normal.

"That was great! Though I almost forgot the steps we still managed to finish the song!" exclaimed Joyce.

"Yeah, it's over. Now we should think of a new excuse to skip Ms. Clinton's boring Calculus class." I said, slapping the reality back to us.

"Good thing you still have your Glee Club to excuse you. How unfair!" Steph blurted out while picking her nails.

I almost forgot that I am the directress of the Glee Club and I always have the authority to excuse myself for program preparations. Yes it may be unfair for some but it's like I'm stressing myself on other stuff rather than skipping classes and hang out with friends. Still in the middle of realization when a guy bumped me from behind. I snapped and stared at his blank face.

"Okay? Sorry might help, you know?" I reacted. It's been like ten full seconds that our eyes locked each other's before he replied. "Yeah. I'm sorry then. I was just looking for... my classmates. I thought they've gone this way..." he stutters.

"We've been here for at least fifteen minutes and we haven't noticed a bunch of... Juniors, right?" pointing at his yellow ID lace, indicating yellow as Junior's color code. "Anyone, girls?" I asked facing my giggling friends.

"Not even a soul." Joyce reacted like she's gonna collapse.

"Na-ah." Steph like she doesn't care at all.

And the rest just kept smiling like retards. "Oh well, thanks for that. And sorry again." the guy responds.

"Yeah. Anytime." I replied. I wonder why it saddened me seeing him walk away. Then I snapped back to reality, cmon Mia. He's a stranger. Then I returned to my friends.

"Why are you stupid! You're such a waste! Can't you see how gorgeous that guy is? Oh crap Mia, I hate you now" it is Joyce again. Cursing me.

"What the hell do you want me to do? Yeah he's gorgeous and so? I still have the most--"

"That was way back three months ago. Get over it." Steph exclaimed, cutting me off.

Justin and I. It's over. I forgot. Pity me. Speechless for a minute, I walked out feeling my tears gonna rush down my face any time soon.
