I was woken by the obnoxious beeping sound coming from my phone, the noise like a thousand hammers pounding my head. I had only just realised the effectiveness of the alcohol from last night. Inside I regretted even going to that party, for one it was on a Wednesday, meaning I have college today. But there was another reason, only I couldn’t put my finger on it.  I unlocked my mobile to see that I had 5 new messages and 2 missed calls, most of which were from Meg asking where the hell I had gone. To be honest, I don’t even remember leaving let alone how I managed to wake up in my bed. I just know that something happened there.

I abruptly threw my phone on my made bed, peeling off my clothes from the night before. I ran into my bathroom and turned on the shower. Before even having enough time to think, I got into the shower allowing the hot water to pool over my tired skin, causing me to inhale quickly when the water rained over my sensitive scalp. I closed my eyes and began to wash my hair, the smell of wild berries and coconut transforming my bathroom into my very own safe haven. No one could touch me here. The door was locked and no one was in, meaning I was on my own. This made me feel at ease for reasons I could not fathom.

I began to wash my neck causing me to remember. I remembered a stranger, my stranger. How he held my waist and kissed my neck, and made feel desired, yet I had no idea as to who this man was! Why did I feel like I wanted to put a face to this man and kiss him back?

I soon enough put those useless memories behind me and started to get ready for the day ahead. I chose a simple outfit; skinny jeans, an oversized top and my red Vans. I don’t believe in making a great effort to dress up at college, I’m not trying to impress anyone. I left my long brown waves to sit on my shoulders, feeling them gently tickle my skin as they dried. I quickly brushed my teeth, grabbed my bag and phone and left my house.

It was only after having dropped my phone that I realised what the time was, 10:23am. I was an hour and a half late for college, and had to wait another 20 minutes for a bus. I considered not even bothering to go, however I was fully aware that if I didn’t Jess would just assume that I was dead. I didn’t want to go but I didn’t want to give her a heart attack either.

I arrived at college just half an hour later, to be greeted by empty corridors. It looked like a ghost town. Given that the current lesson only had a few minutes left, I decided it was not worth showing up to it, so I waited for the next lesson. I walked towards my locker, throwing my bag to the floor in annoyance, where was my key? Eventually I had found my key and put it in the lock slowly turning it in the hope to make time go sooner. As my back was turned, I felt a presence behind me yet when I looked no one was there.

That’s when I felt them again. The large hands from the other night had been wrapped around my waist, planting me to the ground. The similar lips began to kiss my jaw, making my body shiver. The hands began to move to my bottom, where they stopped in order to retrieve something from my back pocket; my phone. After hearing the faint tapping noises from my phone, I realised what the stranger was doing. He was entering his number. My cheeks soon began to redden. People had asked for my number before, but I just didn’t bother to reply. So why did feel that I wanted to if the strangers name popped up on my phone. I told myself to turn, yet my brain and muscles found it impossible to work together, how could the unknown have this effect on me?  A vibrating soon stopped my stupid mind from wandering. The stranger’s phone was the source of the raucous. He had texted himself from my phone so that he had my number and I his. Shit!

I felt his hands snake around my waist again, his head leaning down like last night. He moved my hair and mumbled something into my ear as he put my phone back into my jean pocket. “Harry”. That’s all I got from the boy whom I knew nothing about. ‘Harry’ that was his name. Now he had a name, I had a feeling who it was, He was the mysterious boy from at the party, the one who refused to even talk to me let alone look at me I wanted to turn to get a closer look at the boy, but there he stood causing my muscles to lock just at him touching my arm.

His arms then left my skin, causing me to loose warmth I didn’t even know was there. My heart sank, my head bowing at the loss of our contact. Before I knew it, he had left, leaving me alone again. “Bye Fleur” a booming voice shouted, echoing through the deserted corridor, causing my bones to vibrate at the sound of him calling my name. I turned to see the back of a boy’s body. He was tall; even though I wasn’t short, he would definitely tower over me. He had long legs that rested inside of tight black skinny jeans. He was wearing white converse and a black leather jacket. The muscles in his arms contracted as he clenched his fist whilst walking. On his head there was a halo of chocolate curls, he was perfect. I didn’t even need to see his face to tell that he was beautiful, nor did I need to see his face to know that it was most definitely him.

My phone snapped me out of my day dream. I had one new text message from an unknown number: Like what you see, huh? H x

It was Harry, I didn’t even know the boy yet he was confident that I was drooling over him, which I most definitely was. I knew that he would keep creeping up on me like this, causing my emotions to go into over drive. But why? Why did he choose me, boring Fleur Grayson, the girl that would rather read and listen to music than party and dance with drunken boys?

The corridors soon filled with students that were rushing to their next lesson, hoping to sit with their friends and not some ‘loser’. I trudged behind a random group of girls and made my way over to Maths with Mr Sternly. My mind filled with the image of the boy that kept finding me.
