"Ah. Welcome back, boys."

"Our pleasure, Chiron, sir." Harry nodded back at the fatherly-figure sat in a wheel chair in front of us.

"And, your name is...?" He smiled at me.

"Erm, Sadie. Sadie Galleaux." I stuttered. "Where are we, may I ask?"

Chiron chuckled. "You, my dear, are in Camp Half-Blood. Camp for special people, like you. You see, Sadie, not every myth is a myth. The gods of Olympus, for example."

I narrowed my eyes. "You mean...."

"Yes, child. That Minotaur you encountered a few hours ago, came for you. You are something special, something this camp hasn't seen before. I can feel it." Chiron gave me a warm smile.

"Thanks?"

"You don't seem surprised at all." Louis said to me.

"When I was in 2nd, all the way to 6th grade, I believed I was a... demigod. With my best friend, Cathy." I sighed. I hadn't seen Cathy since the summer after 8th grade. She just... disappeared.

"You mean me?" A familiar voice came from behind Chiron.

"Cathy..." I stared at the beautiful girl standing in front of me. I ran towards her.

"Sadie, I missed you so much." She engulfed me into the best hug I'd had in years.

"We'll let you two have your moment." The boys coughed and left the room, Chiron wheeling behind.

"Cathy... Where did you go?" I asked her.

Cathy shrugged. "Here."

I nodded and wiped my tears. "I guess we weren't being stupid in Middle School were we?"

Cathy laughed and let go of me. "Want a tour of the place?" I nodded.

She led me out of the Blue House and onto the field. She pointed towards the large and fully bloomed strawberry patch. I noticed some boys picking the strawberries.

"The satyrs like to pick the strawberries." She said simply, noticing that I was looking at them.

"Satyrs?" I cocked my head to the side.

"Half man, half goat." It was then when I looked down at their lower bodies too see that they had furry limbs and hooves. "Grover!" Cathy called out.

A satyr with very small horns trotted up to is with a bright smile. "Hi Cathy! Who's this?"

"This is Sadie Galleaux. She's new." She explained.

"Undetermined?" He asked. Cathy nodded. "You'll be staying in the Hermes cabin! They are always welcoming newbies with open arms!" He said, "most of the time."

I have the satyr a quizzical look but went on with the conversation.

Cathy and Grover led me over to, what Cathy called it, "The Artsy Cabin." It was huge. There were three gigantic rooms. One room with split up recording studio-like things, one art room and gallery, and a dance studio.

"This is huge.." I mutter in awe.

"If you're interested in any of the arts, this is the place to go. Right now it's Free Time, so you can go wherever you want, but it's only an hour long before you have to get back to training." Grover said.

We slipped through the door of the singing room to the dance studio where we found Liam watching the dancers.

"Hi, Liam!" I smiled brightly at him.

"Hello, Sadie!" He walked over to us. "How d'you like camp so far?"

"It's great, though I'm not sure what "undetermined" means." I replied. Liam, Cathy, and Grover laughed and explained to me what it meant.

"Undetermined means that you haven't gotten claimed by a god yet." Cathy told me.

"Claimed?" I repeated.

"Did you live with your mom or your dad?" Liam asked.

"Mom..." I said.

"So, most likely you will be claimed by a male god." Grover concluded.

"What's "claim"?" I asked.

"It means that your father (he's a god, by the way) will claim you as his daughter." Cathy said.

"Ah. I see." I nodded in understanding. "Who are your parents?"

"My mom is Demeter, goddess of the harvest." Cathy said.

"My father is Apollo." Liam added. "God of light, music, and poetry."

"And I'm a satyr so..." Grover said awkwardly. I just nodded.

A girl about my age came over to us with her water battle and breathing heavily. "We're done practicing." She said simply.

"You were amazing, babe!" Liam hugged her. He looked at me. "This is my girlfriend, Danielle (I know they broke up but I'm a hardcore Payzer shipper)."

"Hi!" She smiled warmly at me. "It's so nice to meet you! Are you new? I haven't seen you around before." I nodded.

"Danielle's mother is Nike, goddess of victory." Liam said.

"Like the shoe brand?" I guessed.

"Yeah, she's an active goddess." Danielle replied. "I'm going to go change. I'll see you around!" As she walked away with some of her friends, I heard them whispering. "She's really pretty."

Aw, shucks.

"Heroes! Heroes!" I heard a call. "Dinner is served."
