I just want to make sure that everyone knows how to say Aleah's name. It's Ah-lee-ah ~jacie
Leaves. Grass. Dirt. What? This doesn't make any sense. Last I remember was being at the movies with Autumn. But where am I now? Something isn't right...
"Aleah?" I heard Autumn call out from somewhere around me. "Autumn? Where are you?" I stood, though with great difficulty, as it felt that I hadn't stood in years. When I managed to find my balance I found my best friend Autumn sitting on the ground. Apparently she was in just as much shock as I am.
"Aleah, where are we? What happened?" Fear sparked her eyes. "I'm not--" I began. Suddenly, a set a footsteps made themselves clear against the sounds of the forest. Autumn and Aleah
dashed through the tress in an attempt to hide. The owner of the footsteps saw them, though. "Who is that?" The person said. They were to scared to move, or even breathe. They were frozen in place. "You don't have to hide, you know! I won't hurt you!" It was a girl of about 20 or so. She had a long braid of dark brown hair over her shoulder. She wore a faded blue sundress, and had wide hazel eyes. Aleah stepped out from behind the tree. Autumn followed her hesitantly. "Hello?" Aleah asked carefully. "What were you two thinking?!" The girl exclaimed suddenly. "I'm sorry! Where are we exactly?" Aleah asked. "Oh, I- come with me. Hurry. It's not safe here."After several minutes of walking, a small house came into view. It was surrounded by hundreds of wildflowers that the girls had never seen. Inside was a small bed, a table, and a small kitchen, with a window. There was a shelf beside the table, and it frightened Autumn to see a bow and some arrows stacked on it. "I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Cora. Please don't be afraid." She added, seeing the fear on the girls faces. "Look, I understand what your going through, trust me. When I was your age- what 13 maybe?" "Yeah, actually" Aleah replied. "Well I found myself here, my sister and I. We were totally clueless. We started walking, as that was all we could do. We slept in a hollow tree. When we awoke, we were in a house- a wizard's house" "A wizard? As in a wand and magic and stuff?" Autumn interrupted. "Yes." "So is this some kind of real life Harry Potter" Aleah asked. "I guess in a way it's similar, yes" Cora said, smiling.
"Anyway, he explained everything that I'm now going to tell. I'll give you a heads up, it's a lot to take in, but it's the truth. You see girls, your in the Forests of Rowance." "I've never heard of that before." Autumn said. "Neither had I. See, your no longer in the human world, and you may never go back."
