The sun shone brightly into the bedroom as Aleah opened her eyes. It had already been 3 days since she had come to Rowance. She had met most of the maids and butlers around the castle, and for the most part figured her way around.
"Oh, good, your up." Mia said, startling Aleah. "The Queen has sent me to tell you that you get dressed for the King's homecoming. He's been away, negotiating peace with a group of giants that moved into the northern hills of Rowance." "Okay, I'll be down in a while, thanks."
Aleah turned to walk towards the large, bronze, wardrobe. She pulled out a white dress, and pulled on a gold headset.
"Good Morning, Love" Amber said. "My husband, the King, will be arriving soon." "Huh. I never pictured you getting married." Aleah smiled. "Well his name is Owen. Don't worry. You'll love him."
Aleah stood with Amber, watching the front gates of the palace open, the Kings carriage coming through them. When the horses came to a stop, a handsome man stepped out.
"Welcome home! Everything went okay?" Amber asked. "Yes, they agreed to move to the other side of the river." He then turned around to see Aleah.
"Who is this?" He asked. "I'm Aleah." "Well it's nice to meet you, Aleah." "Aleah is my sister, I've told of her before. She arrived in Rowance a few days ago, she's the new princess."
