Abraham's P.O.V
"Why the hell would you do that!" I asked with concern trying to figure out what happened "Is anything broken?"
"Well I wasn't paying attention to where I was riding and Magilla went under a tree. I do have a few broken ribs but I'm fine"
"Well aren't you bright, c'mon we'll get you fixed right up." I say calmly as she nods and we walk through the gates with Magilla following us.
As we are getting ready to head into the infirmary to get her fixed up Rick comes around the corner with Carl following close behind. When he noticed us he just stared at Magilla and then at us like we grew two heads. Then he finally spoke up...
Rick's P.O.V
I was looking for Abraham to talk to him about leaving his post, but as we round the corner I saw a horse... wait when did we get a horse. I stared at it in shock for a few seconds as to figure out why a horse was in here. When I noticed Abraham and a young girl that seemed to be related to him. "Hey. uhm Abraham who is this and why does she have. uh, uhm a horse?" I tried to say nonsheepishly but that obviously failed.
"Well this is my niece Avery and this is her horse Magilla" he said with a smile the size of Texas. You could tell that they were really close before everything happened. "Why hello Avery, nice to meet you. My name is Rick Grimes and this is my son Carl. He should be around your age." I said pointing to Carl and trying to be friendly as possible to our newcomer.
"Why thank you Mr. Grimes, but please call me Ava."
"Sounds good Ava and you can call me Rick" She nodded in agreement and we went to go shake hands but all of a sudden she winced and held her chest.
Avery's P.O.V
I was meeting Rick and his son Carl when my chest started to scream in pain again and I remembered that I had a few broken ribs. I grabbed my chest trying to ease the pain but it just made it worse. "RAHHHH!" I screamed as the pain got worse and I blacked out. Something is very wrong.
A/N Ooh cliffhanger. Sorry it's not very long but I have to go ride the horse and yes his name is Magilla. I will update s soon as possible, might be tonight or tomorrow morning
