A girl awoke in an unfamiliar room. She couldn't understand what happened before she got here, but she knew it was somewhere she had to have been before. A voice went through her head, which appeared to only be able to say one phrase. "Alice, I'm sorry. I couldn't save you from it." It said. She opened her mouth, trying to confirm if the voice was hers, as well as to try to tell it that it's OK. Incomprehensible sounds came out of her mouth, so she couldn't figure it out. She noticed a notebook on the floor, and guessed that was how she was able to communicate. She decided to read it. "December 12. Again today, nothing's changed. That girl still lives here, as well as master. I don't understand why, but she seems able to do things. I'm still stuck here, unable to speak, and still can't move as well as her. It fills me with jealousy, but the cruelty of god still renders me unable to take action. I still have to write the words out instead of saying them, but it makes me a better writer than her at least." The most recent page said. It made her remember what was happening, so she began to understand. "Oh, you're awake." A man said, as he barged into the room. I'd guess they were the master person mentioned, because they appeared not to be a girl. "Oh, it's you. Good morning." She said. "I'm going to check on the other one." He walked off, and I slowly followed him, and fell down. I tried to get back up, and noticed a scrape on my arm. There also were numbers written on it. I saw the other person. "She couldn't save you, and got hurt because of it. You both were asleep for quite a while." The girl was beautiful when she woke up. "So, Eri, you woke up too." He said, "I'm glad to see you're both OK, but because you got yourselves hurt, I'm going to take over. I'm going to make you do what I say so that you both remain safe. I love you too much to let you hurt yourselves again." He finished. "Aww... But, maybe, it'll be fun." They said in unison.
